the reading Emre´nin otomobili is a bit confusing since you can find two Report
past tenses we haven´t studied. I think it helps to know that the story
past tense with -mis and the past continuous (istemiyordu) are also
there.Sonra görüsürüz!

Would seem that if there are 36 tenses and they are used for writing, you Report
would need to know them for reading?? Whodart

Have you ever heard that in turkish there are 8 tenses : Report
- present - present continuous - future - past di - past mi! - necessity - (+2)
conditional - subjonctive.
But here´s the surprise : that´s for one mode (simple) and there are 6
modes :
simple - past - conditional - past conditional - inferential - past
inferential. But, there are only 36 tenses in total (some modes don´t have
some tenses) and most of them aren´t used, only for writing, although
there´re easy and depending on the harmony rules and suffixes. not
saying this to scare you, but... It´s good to know..

Toodles.
