1. Tell me something about yourself.

 My name is Vanlalfelpuia Royte.


 I live in Aizawl, Mizoram.
 I have done B.Com(Hons) and pursuing MBA in HR.
 I am passionate about learning new skills and experiencing new things
whatever is possible for me.

2. What do you know about our company?

I know that this company specializes in developing products that are one of the most
environment friendly products as compared to the competitors like Burya Ltd
company and Potal Ltd company. This company has about 15000 employees working
worldwide as updated in 2017. The CEO of this company is Mr.Rahul Chhillar and he
founded this company in 1950 in the city of Mumbai.

3. Why do you want to join us?

As I have mentioned before I am interested in learning new things. So, this is a big
opportunity not only for learning but for building up to becoming who I really want
to be that is to work for a big organization and strive hard to make it even bigger.
This company is really interesting for me as I myself consider an environment
friendly-guy that wants to develop products and services in the most environment
friendly manner. I truly value the company’s goals and objectives and and I see no
other company coming even this close to this company’s values.

4. Why should we hire you?

I believe I possess the same goals as the company has. And I believe I have the
qualities to build and bring growth to this company in the years to come by. If
Human Resource is maintained and brought to full potential, the production in a
matter of time will rise, which I am particularly trained and have years of experience
in. I also believe I possess the required skills and abilities mentioned in the job. I’m a
very motivated worker and dedicated to my job. If a task for a day isn’t done, I have
the tendency to finish it in a day itself and leave nothing for tomorrow. I think this
position is a great fit for me and I am excited to begin this new chapter in my career.
5. What are your greatest professional strengths/weaknesses/achievement?

I have an extremely strong work ethic. When I’m working on a project, I don’t just
want to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to complete the project well ahead of
schedule. Last year, I even earned a bonus for completing my three most recent
reports one week ahead of time. I follow the phrase “Well begun is half done”. So, I
never leave a day’s work to be done the next day. Rather, I try to complete it in a
day’s time.

I think one area I could work on is my honesty. I am always so concerned about


everything done right and being truthful to each own duty. Unfortunately, that’s not
always possible and sometimes being too honest can also hurt someone’s feeling. I
am working on this area to have the right amount of honesty.

My greatest achievement was when I worked as an Assistant HR for Techno Ltd


company. I was awarded “Employee of the year” for my dedication towards my
duties and tasks given by our heads of the organization. Within just a year of
working, it was such an amazing and wonderful moment to know my name called up
for the much-valued award for any company’s’ employee.

6. What according to you is the best way to resolve a conflict? Have you faced a
conflict? How did you deal with it?

Yes, I have had conflicts in the past. Never major ones, but there have been
disagreements that needed to be resolved. I’ve found that when conflict occurs, it
helps to fully understand the other person’s perspective, so I take time to listen to
their point of view, then I seek to work out a collaborative solution.

7. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Well, I’m really excited by this position in this company because in 5 years, I’d like to
be seen as someone with deep expertise in the Human Resource sector, and I know
that’s something that I’ll have an opportunity to do here. I’m also really excited to
take on more managerial responsibilities in the next 5 years and potentially even
take the lead on some projects. I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing
managers and so developing into a great manager myself is something I’m really
excited about.

8. What’s your dream job/dream profile?

I think my dream job would be a combination of creating products that are making a


difference in the world and getting a chance to share them with as many people as
possible. I was excited about this position because I read that millions of people use
your company’s products each day and it seems like the work you’re doing is having
a big impact in the world.
9. What other companies are you interviewing and interviewed with?

I do have a couple of interviews coming up soon with Tojo Ltd and Renley and Co. for
senior marketing positions. But I can tell you that, based on what I know, this
position has exactly the kinds of challenges I’m looking for in my next role.

10. What kind of a work environment do you prefer in an organization?

Generally speaking, I like to work in an environment where productivity is high, and


the employees have a sense of commitment. In my experience, whether the culture
is extremely fast-paced or more laid back, it’s the dedication of the employees at all
levels that makes the company successful and a great place to work.

11. What are your key hobbies?

I take pleasure in listening to music. I am a musician myself. Classical music and


Country music help me recharge and brings me that inner peace after a heavy day.
Individual and team sports is also one of my favourite as it improves my physical and
mental health and helps in developing my leadership skills.

12. How much salary do you expect?

I expect my salary accordingly to my qualification, skill and performance.

13. Is there anything you would like to ask us?

company please tell me the reason behind this so that I won’t repeat this mistake in
