    (Adi Maulana/10040019246) Assalamualaikum, hello guys we are from Laos group, today we will
    present about Traffic and Road Conditions in Laos. We will introduce ourselves first, My name is Adi

    (Adi Maulana/10040019246) Traffic, like any other countries Laos also suffered from heavy congesting
    problem, all comes from various factors, such as, lack of public transportation, or even the roads whose
    the quality doesn't even meet the standard, today we will explain of how these congestion happened in
    the first place, and how to fix it.

    (Wahyu Nursinta/10040019255) Ok friends, next on the second slide about road conditions in Laos.
    Traffic in Laos is chaotic, and road conditions are very rough. Almost the same as in Indonesia. Many
    roads are damaged and potholes. Road conditions like this are usually due to water, soil properties, and
    transportation costs. Traffic jams and accidents can happen at any time. Especially at night and the
    street lights are minimal, motorists may have accidents.

    (M. Rizqy Chandra/10040019249) Public transportation is unreliable and is limited after sunset.
    Automobile taxis or cars for hire are available at the airport, the Friendship Bridge, most major hotels,
    and near the Morning Market in Vientiane. The most common form of public transport is a three-
    wheeled, open-sided taxi called "tuk-tuks.” Tuk-tuks and taxis are frequently in poor repair, and drivers
    generally speak little or no English. Inter-city transport is provided by buses, vans, pickups, and trucks,
    any of which may also be in poor repair.

    (Ghinna Annissa/10040019256) Next, I will talk about emergency services in Laos. Emergency services in
    Laos are very unreliable or non-existent. If there is an accident, traffic rules in Laos require everyone
    who sees the accident to help the injured person be taken to the hospital.

    (Diana Mulyasari/10040019245) And the last slide is a solution to traffic jams the solution to avoid
    congestion is that the Laos government must improve public transportation like bus, taxi, train etc.
    Public awareness of the importance of obeying road signs and red lights, and the police must always be
    present to secure traffic.
