- Stage 1: Technology and its effects on environment
Write about technological advancement and the effect on the ecosystem.

I want to open with you a discussion about modern technology an its implications on
environment. In my opinión I consider that technology has had a variety of both positive
and negative impacts, for example.

On the positive I can say access to the internet, mobile phones and social media has made
people more informed about current events.

And when asked about the impact of social media on the broader political process,
majorities in nine of these 11 countries say they have increased the ability for ordinary
citizens to take part in the political process

The effect of technology on the environment is so huge that there are drastic climate
changes around the world.

There is damage in the form of global warming, extinction of birds, plants and also greater
propensity for diseases, my recommendation is to finish overconsumption,
overexploitation, pollution, and deforestation.

- Stage 2: Technology and global warming (2nd week)

¿What do you think will happen if current trends of technology development and
consumerism continue?

I consider As well as obvious social and economic problems, consumerism is destroying


our environment. As the demand for goods increases, the need to produce these goods also
increases. This leads to more pollutant emissions, increased land-use and deforestation, and
accelerated climate change; for example If everyone on earth consumed the same amount
as the average US citizen four planet earths would be needed to sustain us.

growing part of all the stuff we throw away. And this stuff is full of toxins that if not
properly removed, re-used or recycled, can poison the land, air and water, as well as the
bodies of workers exposed to the chemical contents.

Write your advice on how we can contribute to the improvement of current


environmental crisis.

I can contribute to the improvement with recycle , this is the most common and, in most
cities, the easiest, most accessible thing we can do for the environment. Most cities in Los
Angeles County provide separate containers for trash, recyclables and garden clippings as
well as convenient pickup. We can recycle many household items, including computers,
printer cartridges, aluminum cans, paper, plastic bottles, milk jugs, batteries, steel
containers, glass and much more. create groups eco friendly and Make ecological
awareness part of our social fabric and culture as Americans. The more you learn about the
complex relationships between living things and their environment, the better. Talk to your
family and friends about the things you know and learn.
