    (a) Plot a graph by using Microsoft Excel and describe the relationship between

    (a) Construct a stem-and-leaf plot for the examination grades which the stem are 1, 2,
    3…9.
    (b) Construct a histogram, frequency polygon and cumulative frequency graph by
    using Microsoft excel. Use the first class interval 10-19. Submit your answer in
    e-learning. Due date is on 2 March 2020 (2 PM).
    (c) Compute manually the sample mean, sample median and sample standard
    deviation.

    Q3. Two materials, A and B are used for manufacturing motorcycle helmet. It is important
    that the material be resistant to the penetration process. Six specimens of each material
    were tested. Table 1 shows the measurement of the penetration strength of the specimens
    in psi.

    (a) Calculate the first quartile, third quartile and median for the two specimens’
    group.
    (b) Make a box-plot for each material and interpret the results (use given graph
    paper)
