1.ancient classic "brihat parashar hora shstra"

2. Books written by Sanjay rath. Books written by sanjay rath provide deep information.

Never read books written by famous astrologer B v raman. This person was lucky in giving
predictions. his book 'how to judge horoscope" is very confusing. you may not come to
any conclusion.ya but you will find many horoscope for studying in this Horoscope.

Also remember that there will be lots of confusions.Don't trust blindly on these books.

astrology in itself is a vast ocean of knowledge which no one can hardly master. But if you
want to have an overview of hindu astrology, then you may go through the following
books:

1) Learn, think and Predict though astrology by CP Arora

2) Ligh on Life by Hart de Fouw and Rovert E Svoboda

3) Hindu Predictive Astrology By Dr. BV Raman

These are the beginner's books that provide a basic knowledge of every topic and makes
you aware ofSearch for questions,
the various people,
sub branches. Goand topicsthe above books 3-4 times and then
through Sign In
you will have an idea how astrology works.
After this, you can go through KN rao books for learning how to think scientifically. Also
books by CS patel provides various techniques which can be applied easily. Practical Vedic
Astrology by GS Kapoor is also a book which covers all the topics but lacks illustrations and
example charts. But the theory part is good.

After this, you can read classical astrology books like phaldeepika, saravali, bphs, brihat
jataka, etc but only at a later stage.
