The tuition fee for a course is determined by multiplying the number of units for the course by the unit fee.
For example, from 1 January 2011, an international student commencing in 2011 would be charged
AUD$3,460 to undertake a 2 unit Law course: 2 x AUD$1,730 (Fee Band C rate per unit) = AUD$3,460.
Tuition fees are subject to annual review and cost indexation. Use the Fee Calculator found via the ‘What it
costs’ link at www.uq.edu.au/study, to obtain an estimate of fees.
