190 SERIES HAND CHAIN HOISTS

A Quality Product
The 190 Series are world class products of high quality, low cost,
light weight and high endurance in capacities from 500kg to
20000kg.The key capacities 500kg, 1000kg, 2000kg and 3000kg are
Class M2 hoists for heavy-duty use giving twice the working life of
Class M1 units commonly available in the market.

The Morris 190 design exceeds BS EN 13157* and includes safety

hooks.The hoists have a safety factor of 5:1 (M2). *1500kg-Grade
100 loadchain is fitted

For optimised strength and wear resistance Morris fit as standard

an anti-corrosive finish grade 80 loadchain.The 190 has proven
minimal maintenance and long life lubrication.

Built in 164 series push or hand geared trolleys are offered for
500kg to 10000kg capacities. Hook suspension hoists are used with
164 series trolleys with 16000kg and 2000kg capacities providing a
hung in arrangement.

Hook suspension is available for all capacities and all hook

suspension hoists can be hung into push or hand geared Morris
164 travelling trolleys.

Spark Resistant & Marine Specification Hand Chain Hoist Options:

This high quality trolley range is precision engineered in capacities

from 500kg to 20000kg.

• The trolley enables exact positioning or easy traversing of large

loads and can incorporate either manual or powered hoists
• Available in push or hand geared travel versions, the 164 can be
supplied to suit track widths up to 305mm
• Bottom of handchain loop is 460mm from ground level
• Runners are precision machined and rotate on maintenance free
sealed ball bearings.The design incorporates drop stops and de-
railing guides in compliance with EU directives
• Pusher bar fixing holes and drop stop/wheel retainers provided
in all models. Anti-tip stop fitted to all geared trolleys

Five Capacities From 750kg - 6000kg

A popular and proven design to BS EN 13157*, the versatile Morris
PL Levalift is designed to perform a wide variety of lifting, pulling,
tensioning and securing applications.This product incorporates the
latest advances in design to provide maximum safety and strength
combined with maximum operating effort.

For rapid hook positioning, the grade 100 loadchain can either be
'pulled through' or 'wound through' by means of a hand wheel.

The automatic brake function, which fully meets the relevant

European Standards, ensures that any load of 20kg or more will
cause the brake to be applied irrespective of the position of the
motion selector.

The hoist is lightweight and compact with a robust steel

construction. It requires low operating effort.

*Grade 100 loadchain is used

The Smallest & Lightest Morris Lever Hoist

This hoist is the smallest and lightest lever hoist in the Morris range.
Due to the multitude of application possibilities e.g. in industry,
trade and service, this rachet lever hoist is indispensable.The
extremely low weight and very compact design makes the hoist
easy to use in very confined working conditions.

• A free chain device serves to quickly attach the load or
pull the chain through the hoist in both directions
