THE STATE OF THE MUNICIPALITY ADDRESS

Municipal Mayor

The ever supportive Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Vice


Mayor Reynaldo J. Flores, our enthusiastic Punong Barangays and their
respective Barangay Officials, Officer-In-Charge Police Major Baldwin
F. Sokoken Jr. and the members of Naguilian Police Station, Heads of
various departments and agencies, religious leaders and members of
Civil Society Organizations, honored guests, visitors, friends, ladies
and gentlemen - a pleasant morning.
I welcome everyone to our humble Municipality of Naguilian, also
known as “The Home of the Original Basi.” Today marks the beginning
of a new chapter as we, Naguilianons, put our best foot forward and
work towards the realization of our dream for cityhood.
Words are not enough to express how thankful I am and the entire
officialdom for all the efforts and sacrifices that all of you contributed to
support various programs and activities of the municipality.
True to our vision, we came up with the ROADMAP TO CITYHOOD
which will serve as the foundation of this administration’s plans and
projects.

As the mother of this town, I am asking for your unwavering
commitment and support in all the endeavors of our beloved
municipality. We are also hoping that you continue sending prayers to
the Almighty, that He guide all of us through all the adversities and
challenges of modern times. Let us not let our differences divide us, but
I hope that we will become united with our dream for a better Naguilian
- for our children and for the future generations to come. We are ONE
NAGUILIAN!
