ABSTRACT ( Project)

Title: Fest Management System

FMS, a web application to automate the process of Fest Management.

Theme/Purpose:

Fest Management System is a Web Application which shall be used to manage the
Participants Information, Events Information, Coordinator Details and generate
various reports.

The System will consist of various modules like Registration System, Billing System,
Participation in various events and Participants alert system.

The purpose of this project is to automate the registration process and billing system
during the fest and managing the participation in various events individually by the
event coordinators, generation of various reports and alerting the participants during
the fest, thus maintaining a complete database and records.

Methods & Technologies:

The complete project is a web application so we will be using HTML and Java Script
for front end designing along with the server side scripting language PHP. For
database MySQL will be used. For dynamic data matching AJAX will be used.

We will be using various tools like Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 &Microsoft Expression
Web. The Core System Requirements are PHP version 5.x+ & MySQL 4.x+

Results:

During the phase of stage 1 we will be completing the basic modules and will
implement over a LAN (WiFi).
Conclusions:

With the use of Fest Management System, the web application a lot of work is
reduced and also been speedup thus providing access to the data to various privilege
holders.
