May I request the Administration, Faculty and Staff as well students and guests to settle down and find your respective
seats, and for those who are still outside, please come inside now and make yourself comfortable as we are about to
begin our thanksgiving service. Thank you.
Before we begin, may I also remind everyone to set your phones in silent mode and switch it off to avoid distraction.
Introduction:
What we are is God’s gift to us, what we become is our gift to God. This compelling word has been made true today as we
gratify and appreciate the goodness of the Lord in this joyful celebration. We praise and thank God for this beautiful
morning, a wonderful opportunity for us to be together as one big happy family to celebrate the founding of our beloved
institution, La Patria College.
Opening Prayer/ Praise and Worship:
May God guide us as we begin today’s program with a prayer to be led by Mr. Angelo Lahina, Instructor, College of
Humanities and Social Science to be followed by praise and worship.
Introduction of the Guest Messenger:
Now that our hearts are warmed by these beautiful hymns; at this juncture, it is an honor to introduce to you our guest
messenger.
He is one of our partners in reaching out to the next generation.
He is happy married for 14 years to Ma’am Christine, the owner of Kukutin’s, and they are blessed with two kids, Elisha
(Elaysha yung pagbasa ) and Miguel.
He has been a long-term missionary in Cambodia. Currently, he is the Executive and Discipleship Pastor of Victory
Christian Fellowship-Santiago. Let us all welcome...a man of action, passion and dedication… PASTOR MICHAEL C.
