Dear sir,

My interest in the area of the IT sector has pushed me a mile further for strengthening my
enjoyment in studies, work experiences and training. My name is Zari Munir. I am from
Pakistan. My bachelor’s degree in Computer Science has always been a life changing experience
and has inspired me to put the knowledge into my Master’s degree. Now, I plan to pursue a
Master of Information Technology from University of Newcastle, Australia.

I would like to present my past performances. I successfully completed my School Leaving


Certificate from Society Public School with 80% in the year 2015. I completed my intermediate
securing 76% in Computer Science from Punjab Group of Colleges, Lahore, in the year 2017. So
to pursue my childhood dream to become software engineer, I enrolled in University of Central
Punjab for bachelor’s of Computer Science and completed my degree securing 71% in the year
2019. It has laid a strong a strong foundation for me in such a way that I have enhanced my
knowledge in software. I gained knowledge of Network theory, Computer Networks,
Programming in C, Object-Oriented Programming in C++, Computer Organization and
Computer Graphics.
I started to work as an IT Support Engineer in Fullduplex Tech where my duty and
responsibilities were:
 Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
 Install and configure computer hardware operating systems
 Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
 Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
 Replace parts as required
 Talk staff or clients through series of action to resolve issue.

To further lift my knowledge about technology and its pros and cons, I have decided to join the
Master course, which will help me grow personally and professionally. For this purpose I choose
Australia because it is a very popular destination with high quality of education. Australia has
got top ranking universities that provide excellent quality of education and have global
recognition. The education system is more practical and carrier oriented with a good
international impression which can help students to prepare themselves for the competitive job
market and to cope up with demanding challenges at work. Friendly environment, top quality
education with innovative teaching styles, interactive classrooms, projects, visual presentations
and many more features have made the country an ever-welcoming destination for international
students. I also attracted by the multicultural and peaceful cities with impressive health and
safety standards, low crime rate, affordable living expenses and favorable weather conditions and
a comfortable learning environment.

Australia has seven of the top 100 universities in the world. Australia offers a wide range of
study options for international students, with over 22,000 courses across 1,100 institutions.
Australia’s education system ranks 8th in the world ahead of countries such as the UK, Germany,
Japan. In addition to these, The Australia Government invested over $200,000,000 per year for
an international education services for overseas students framework, has benefited international
students like me with various liberal opportunities and support services scholarship which makes
studying in Australia more accessible for international students.

I found The University of Newcastle is the best option for me in terms of tuition fees, admission
policy and course structure. The University of Newcastle is highly regarded internationally for
teaching and academic excellence. This university will definitely help me develop my skills in
database system, information system as well as research projects. After completing Masters of
Information Technology at University of Newcastle I will have ample of opportunities.it will
help me flourish my ability which enable me to acquire expertise and contribute to my
motherland.

My only intention is to pursue my Master’s degree in Australia, acquire professional skills and
knowledge in Information Technology. So, I kindly request you to consider my application and
provide me with a golden chance to be a part of your institution.
