OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

Equipment Type AUTOMOTIVE (Car / Jeepney)

Location Practical Work area/Automotive Shop
Operation Procedure:

1. Check the tires for proper inflation and defects.

2. Check windows for visibility.

3. Check seat position and seat built.

4. Check breaks for adjustment and steering response.

5. Check rear view mirrors, slow-moving vehicle emblems and reflectors.

6. Check running lights for day or night time operation.

7. Walk around the car a second time to check the oil level.

8. Check the oil; remove the dipstick, wipe it clean and check the oil level.

9. Check the radiator, slowly remove the red cap and check the liquid level.

10. Check the air pre-cleaner and air cleaner. Remove and shake out any dirt.

11. Check the fuel level; fill if necessary.

12. Check the batteries, adjust or change the battery.

13. Check, Perform pre-starting and warm up procedure.

14. Monitor and maintain vehicle performance.
