Good afternoon to our District Supervisor, Sir Luis M.

Germina,
to our school principal, sir Armin O. Cabrales, to our Head
Teacher , Sir Elmer C. Banania, Teachers, Families, Friends,
and my Fellow Graduates. I am honoured to speak on behalf of
the Graduating Class of 2019 and to welcome you all to this
Virtual Graduation Ceremony.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused many graduations to be
replaced with virtual, drive-in and other alternative ceremonies.
And so, the tradition of giving thanks addressing their
classmates at this huge moment in their young lives is a little
different this year. While I am sad to leave SCES, I am looking
forward to the next step in my life because I know I’m ready…
we are ready! I know we’re ready.
I began my time at Santa Cruz Elementary School, six years
ago. At the time, I was worried about changing schools. I
wondered how I would fit in, and if I would make close friends.
Now, on my graduation day, I am so thankful for that change. I
am so happy to have been a part of this school. SCES is a place
that fosters lasting friendships, encourages curiosity and the
pursuit of knowledge, and most importantly, strengthens our
relationship with God. Our school is truly making disciples of
Christ.

I don’t know whether to feel happy or sad today, knowing that

this is the last time we will all be together tru virtual   as SCES
students. Who could ever forget the failures and disappointments
we encountered along the way, the loves lost and found, the
classes and teachers worth remembering, the ridiculous
adventures that brought wrinkles to our teachers, principal and
other officers, the pranks we played on each other, the battles
that seemed so important to win. It has been a terrific six years
for me here and parting is such sweet sorrow.  But the future
world is  inviting us, and as much as we would like to stay in
the safety and comfort of our Alma Mater, we must now begin to
another journey in our lives.
To be able to stand here in front of you and do this speech isn’t
easy for me. Believe me, it wasn’t easy. Kinakabahan ako!
Gayun pa man, napakapalad natin sa pagkakaroon ng ganitong
pagkakataon.
Masaya tayo ngayon at
We cannot tell what will happen in the future, most especially at
this time. We are stuggling hard or should I say, struggling very
hard due to pandemic. All I can say to you is to be prepared for
the unexpected. Tayo ang bagong henerasyon. Pilitin nating
maging sanhi ng ikauunlad ng ating bayan. Sabi nga ng tema ng
ating pagtatapos, “Sulong Edukalidad: Pagtataguyod Sa

At
naniniwala akong malalampasan natin ang mga ito. Maniwala
lng tayo sa ating kakayahan. By the strength of our faith to God,
and by the courage of our hearts. Success is earned and that it is
never a happenstance. Everything we need to accomplish is right
there in front of us. It is actually our choice to achieve our goals.
Just be brave enough !
This school year was fun and exciting. It gave us wonderful
experiences and memorable moments. So let us all thank God,
the Father Almighty. He has blessed us and guided us throughout
the entire school year, leading us to the right path to success.
This graduation is not ours alone. It is an achievement shared by
many groups of people who have likewise endured with us. Let
us thank our parents and relatives who have cared for all of the
graduates. You have given us your unconditional love. You have
guided and supported us emotionally and financially. When the
times were hard, you were there to believe us. You made us
sustain our belief in ourselves and when we fail, you have
assured us. You have spent the majority of your lives making
things easy for us, making sure that we have the best of
everything. I love you mommy and daddy.
Also, I would like to thank and express my gratitude to all our
school mentors for helping us become well-rounded individuals.
You offered us with a lot of activities helping us develop our
skills and talents. You never gave up on us. You gave us
everything . We still remember some of the sleepless nights and
had to burn the midnight candle to accomplish our tasks. In the
end, it was all worth it.
To our school, Santa Cruz Elementary. I have learned how
important it is to work hard and be responsible, respect other
people and build healthy relationships. I will be forever grateful
to you for the gift of knowledge and for the chance to make a
difference in the lives of young people by allowing me to be part
of your basic education.
pinagsamahan. Anim na taon tayong tandem sa kakulitan at
kalokohan.
Most of us are happy that we finally
surpassed this level, but it is not over yet. After this milestone,
there will be a new beginning. Huwag sana tayong maglilimutan.
We , the graduates, dedicate our diplomas to all of you! As we go
through our separate ways, we will remain steadfast. We will
carry with us the life lessons the school has given us. we will go
out with pride and we will make a difference!
Thank you and God bless us all. Congratulations to all of us.
