Gorilla – waking up your spirit


Goal: Activate meridians, enhance concentration
2. Tiger
Goal: Activate, reduce aggression
3. Cook’s Hook-Ups while seated
Goal: Enhance concentration, balance energy, mental balance and calmness
This exercise helps them find their balance and creates a calm atmosphere. It is very useful when
introducing a new topic.
4. Thinking cap while seated
Goal: Activate meridians, enhance concentration
In addition, this exercise stimulates the centre of the nervous tissue running through the length of
the brain stem.

Goal: Activate meridians, enhance concentration
6. Cross-over exercise
Goal: Activate, centre

7. Energy ball
Goal: Concentrate, focus, relax
8. Mirroring exercise
Goal: Activate, promote cooperation
9. Body percussion in two voices
Goal: Activate, concentrate, strengthen sense of rhythm, enhance coordination
10. Rhythmic ladder
Goal: Activate, strengthen sense of rhythm, enhance coordination, taking the
initiative
11. Concentration
Goal: Enhance concentration, improve memory,coordination of the right and left brain and sense of
rhythm

Goal: Concentrate, enhance attentiveness
13. Dangling arm exercise
Goal: Activate, improve your breathing and body awareness
14. Rolling Down
Goal: Concentrate, straighten your posture
15. Calf pumping
Goal: Concentrate, enhance attentiveness
This exercise encourages our articulateness and improves our auditory perception (listening
comprehension) as well as our attentiveness; it is ideally performed when fatigued, stressed or
before starting difficult tasks.

Goal: Activate and concentrate, remove blockages
This exercise requires patience and frees our mind. It also activates our memory.

Goal: Activate the lung meridian, improve breathing

Goal: Activate, improve communication between
left and right brain hemisphere
19. Earth buttons
Goal: Enhance concentration, stimulate energy flow
This exercise helps us ground and centre ourselves.
20. Energy yawn
Goal: Concentrate, relax brain
• relaxing the entire brain
• activating the reticular formation (part of the brain which extracts relevant information and
suppresses distracting information).
Furthermore, the exercise helps us to improve self-expression, creativity and balance.
21. Ankle circles
Goal: Concentrate, loosen the ankles
The exercise "ankle circles" activates the stomach meridian, loosen our ankles and can be used as
preparation for the "cross-over exercises".
22. Neck exercise
Goal: Concentrate, relax neck muscles
This exercise helps us relax our neck and improves our breathing. It enhances our concentration,
our cardiac cycle and attentiveness.
"You can best learn with a quiet and focused mind."
23. The golden rooster
Goal: Enhance concentration, activate cardiac cycle
It is important that you perform this exercise slowly and follow your hand with your eyes (hand-
eye coordination).

when you feel stressed or exhausted, you will surely re-gain that positive energy and your brain
functions in a very proper way.

with the shoulders.
28. Number 8:  Drawing this figure relaxes the mind and loosens up tense muscles

29. Draw with the other hand: Another simpler brain exercise is to ask the child to draw with his
non dominant hand.
30.  Double Doodle:
The activity encourages your kid’s learning skills and improves spelling accurateness, math
calculation speed and recognition of writing symbols. This is a great brain gym activities for kids.

The exercising posture and range of motion improves the blood circulation and improves your
child’s attention and memory.
32. The Active Arm:
It activates your kid’s brain, betters hand-eye coordination, and tool controlling skills.
33. The Gravitational Glider:
The exercise boosts your kid’s self-expression, confidence, and stability..
34. The rocker
It also stimulates the circulation of the cerebrospinal fluid into the spinal column and activate the
brain for: • study skills • left-to-right visual skills • attention and comprehension.
