A. Springboard/Motivation (Establishing a purpose Activity 1: Define Me
for the lesson)
Present a pictures to the learners on different ways on how to
cook a certain food.
Ask them to define what they can tell about the pictures.
B. Activity (Review of previous lesson/s or Activity 2: Video Presentation
Presenting the new lesson)
Display a video presentation to the learners on different
Filipino culture on food preparation
Let learners give attention to the video.
Ask:
What is the video all about?
Did you like what you saw on the video?
Have you experience a cooking a food for yourself or your family?
What are your feelings upon doing the task?
Why do we need to know what are the proper way to prepare or
cook a food.
• Say:
- Take a look at the pictures.
- Determine the names of the this picture.
Give each student a chance to think.
Write the answers on the chalkboard.
Let them read it individually, or class oral reading.
Ask:
What did you feel about it? after writing the
plain word?
What are the words you learned today?
Give students training to write other words like vegetables,
fruits, etc.
