I started my career in 2007 from OLYMPIA CHEMICAL LTD Pakistan as” Process Plant operator”
Apprenticeship from ENGRO Fertilizer Limited (March 2008 to March 2010) as” Process Plant
Operator” at urea plant Designed by TOYO ACES.
After I move to World Largest Single train Ammonia/Urea Complex, ENVEN 1.3 at Ammonia plant of
ENGRO Fertilizers Limited, (March 2010 to Aug 2014) as” Process Plant Operator” Designed by
Snam Progetti’s
“Company is ISO-9001:2000, ISO-14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 certified.”
 Participated in errection, commissioning & startup of energy conservation system which include
installation of exchanger and pumps.
 Theoretical and skill development trainings on API series, pumps, compressors, valves, exchangers,
instrumentation, P&ID and PFD, …etc
 Qualified JQP (job qualifying program) exam.
 At the end of training, skill certification to work independently in assigned area.
Currently working at APCI Technology LNG Trains producing Lean and Rich LNG &
NGL extraction Units as a Field Operator in Ras Gas Qatar since Aug 2014.

DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE AT LNG PLANT RAS GAS
Currently working at APCI Technology LNG Trains producing Lean and Rich LNG & NGL extruction Units
as a Field Operator.
Hand experience at GE heavy duty DLN (Dry Low Nox) mode Gas Turbine frame 7.
Propane Gas, Mixed Gas Refrigerant Gas, Fuel Gas, process Air & Natural gas/Fuel Gas compression
units.
Absorption, Adsorption, Stripping (Desorption), distillation, Cryogenic process of Natural Gas
Hand Experience of Steam & Gas turbine driven compressors & Pumps
Active & safe manner working experience in several major startup /Shut down & turnarounds.
DEHYDRATION UNIT
To removes water, mercaptans, and mercury from the feed gas Uses molecular sieves adsorption
system.
SELEXSOL UNIT
The Regeneration Gas Treating Unit is designed to remove mercaptans (RSH) from the
regeneration gas exiting the Dehydration Unit. This process utilizes a physical solvent,

NGL EXTRACTION & LIQUEFACTION UNIT
Gas Chilling and Liquefaction unit is to separate heavy hydrocarbon components and to cool the
remaining gas to liquefaction temperature

PROPANE & REFRIGERANT UNIT


The Refrigeration System consists of a Mixed Refrigerant (MR) Cooling System and a Propane
Cooling System. The MR system provides low temperature refrigeration to produce LNG in the
Main Cryogenic Heat Exchanger. The propane system provides chilling for the feed circuit and MR
System.
FRACTIONATION UNIT
To produce Ethane and Propane suitable for Refrigerant Make-up & To separate heavy
hydrocarbons (C5+) in the debutanizer to prevent C5+ from plugging the Main Cryogenic Heat
Exchanger.
DEETHANIZER SYSTEM , DEPROPANIZER SYSTEM, DEBUTANIZER SYSTEM,
DEISOPENTANIZER SYSTEM
DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE AT AMMONIA PLANT
CO2 REMOVAL SECTION ( aMDEA)
 This section consist of CO2 absorber fitted with packing bed & bubble cap trays,
 CO2 stripper with re-boiler, & HP/LP flashes vessels.
 Heavy duty Motor driven centrifugal pumps Seami lean , lean and split stream pumps
 Methanator at the end of gas purification section for conversion of remaining traces of Co and Co2
to methane.
CENTRIFUGAL SYNTHESIS GAS COMPRESSOR:
NUOVO PIGNONE Steam Turbine Driven Centrifugal Synthesis Gas Compressor is to provide high
pressure synthesis gases for ammonia converter.
 It has DRY GAS SEAL arrangement, performance controller and CCC system.
 Two casings, four stages. Discharge pressure 190 Kg/Cm2
It is derived by a condensing and extraction steam turbine Rated power 32 MW
 It is driven by 110 Kg/cm2 Steam at 510 0C temperature. Normal speed 8981 RPM.
Ammonia Synthesis Section
 This section includes RADIAL FLOW AMMONIA CONVERTER S-300. With startup heater
Natural Draft Furnace
 Refrigeration Loop Chillers, Condensers & Accumulator
 ARU (ammonia Recovery unit)
 HRU (Hydrogen Recovery Unit)
DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE AT UREA PLANT
 CO2 Compressors Section
01 EA Compressor six cylinder five stage double acting made by Cooper Bessemer having capacity 900
KSCFH ,HP =7500 HP synchronous motor. Operated at 5~6 psig to 2450 psig
 Synthesis & ACES Section
A C E S ( advance cost and energy saving ) loop having urea reactor, falling film stripper,
scrubber & Carbamate condensers which also used as 70 psig waste heat generator.
 Decomposition & Recovery Section
High pressure & low pressure Decomposers having sieve trays with thermo- siphon based re-boilers ,
High / low pressure absorption towers fitted with packing bed & bubble cap trays and condensers
for recovery of gases.

Main Responsibilities
 To read the Operators' log book and understand clearly the plant status.
 Carries out detailed inspection of all machinery and static equipment’s time by time.
 Closely follow the maintenance activities in his area and ensures that conditions do not change
during the work. In case any changes occur that prevents maintenance from continuing the job
safely, stops immediately and informs shift Controller for further action. Also reports the incomplete
work permits to the Shift Controller.
 Prepare and hand over equipment’s for maintenance, ensure the job is carried out as per the permit
requirements.
 Take periodic readings and records them on the log sheets.
 Collect laboratory samples and hand over to laboratory.
 To maintain Company's high standard KPI complete routine check list such as (PSV, Inergen system,
gratings, end plug and leak survey check list etc).
 Ensures a safe working environment at all times and demonstrate commitment and involvement to
Company's HSE policy.
 Suggest ideas to improve the plant working condition.
 Upon the emergency situation (such as flammable and toxic gas leak, fire & threat to any equipment
damage) activate field manual ESD and report to respective Panel Operator and Shift controller.
 Participate daily in his areas' housekeeping activities.
 Report all Near Miss Incidents to the concerned Shift controller.
 Completes the shift log book containing comprehensive details of plant conditions, details of valid
work permits, status of housekeeping, areas of concern and hand over the job to the incoming shift.

ACHIEVEMENTS
 Emergency squad member & Safety captain of shift base safe operation committee.
 Handled fire, Ammonia and Chlorine leakages by using fire / chemical suites & SCBA.
 Worked with DuPont consultants for OSHA compliance and achieved PSM 4.2 and PSRM 4.3.
 Participated in HAZOP’s/PHA’s/JSA’s according to DuPont method of the newly commissioned facilities.
