    Socio Economic Aspect

    Contribution to the Government


    Madagascar Ltd., contributes to the government by strictly complying with all the
    requirements or following the rules and regulations that the government has been imposed to.
    Such as paying of taxes which can be used for government projects like constructing of
    buildings, roads, bridges, schools, use for livelihood program and health benefits, etc.
    Moreover, the business also helps the government to lessen the burden they have by
    providing job opportunities for those job seekers who are qualified with. As business
    institutions and government are interrelated and interdependent on each other, wherein
    business represents as microeconomics and the government as macroeconomics. Thus, a
    small contribution of such business will lead to greater impact to economic aspect, in which it
    will help the government to run through the economy smoothly.
    Contribution to the Community
    Madagascar Ltd., contributes to the community by bringing growth and innovation. It
    helps stimulate economic growth by providing employment opportunities to people who may
    not be able to employ to other organizations or companies. According to Census and
    Economic Information Center (CEIC), Philippines’ unemployment rate dropped to 4.50 % in
    October 2019, from the previously reported number of 5.40 % in July 2019. This shows a
    positive data since it reduces the unemployment rate of people in our country. Thus, through
    its employment will make even more less unemployed people as well as helping them to have
    an opportunity to improve their lives though in a simple yet progressive way of developing
    the community. That’s the way helping the community to fill up the lapses they have.
    Contribution to the Environment
    Madagascar Ltd., does not view only for making profits, but considering also the
    effect of its product to the environment. We are also aiming for the betterness of the
    surrounding that helps to reduce the plastic wastes scattered along the streets, canals, river
    etc. In fact, the plastic industry began in the early 1900s when the first synthetic plastic was
    created by Leo Hendrik Baekland in the U.S. and according to T. Wang, global plastic
    production has exploded from some 1.5 million metric tons in 1950 to 348 billion metric tons
    in 2017. This data shows serious attention to all since it would really produce a ton of plastic
    wastes each year. So, we decided to used cone type of ice cream in which the cone itself
    could also be used to eat. Through of it, will help minimize the plastic wastes around and
    preventing toxic materials that can harm the health of the environment and the people as well.
    So, there’s no other reason that customers will throw some of plastic wastes anywhere when
    buying our product. Hence, an environmental friendly business aim to maintain and preserves
    the natural resources of the environment.
