General Instructions
The question paper consists of two sections A and B. You are to attempt both sections.
All questions are compulsory. However there is an internal choice in every question of the 5-mark
category.
Questions 1-6 in section A and 17-19 in section B are very short answer questions (to be answered
in one word or one sentence each). They carry 1 mark each.
Questions 7-10 in section A and 20-24 in section B are short answer questions (to be answered in
30-40 words each). They carry 2 marks each.
Questions 11-14 in section A and 25-26 in section B are also short answer questions (to be
answered in 30-40 words each). They carry 3 marks each.
Questions 15-16 in section A and 27 in section B are long answer questions (to be answered in 70
words each). They carry 5 marks each.
