imposed loads and transfer the forces of these loads to the supports.

Structural Analysis:
• Transferring the loads, members are subjected to internal forces such as axial force, shear
force and bending moment.
• Structure analysis deals with analyzing these internal forces in the member of structures.

Engineering Mechanics:
Treating structure as a single rigid bodies and finding reaction. First step of analysis.

Strength of Materials:
Behavior of materials subjected to different types of internal forces.

Structural Design:
Sizing various members of structure.
