Character: Goldilocks

Costume Design Sketch Colour Palette

Character Design Breakdown:

The design for Goldilocks’ costume is much alike her personality- fun, bright and
mischievous. Keeping with the show’s colour palette of bright colours, the costume for
Goldilocks includes bright orange and pink colours, and the design of the dress is playful. A full
skirt with petticoat layering gives a full look to the dress, and allows for a big flowy effect when
the actor twirls during the choreography in the show. The hair is comprised of two pigtails,
curled. Footwear for all actors consists of black jazz shoes.

Character: Wolf

Character Design Breakdown:

The costume design for the Wolf is very basic. The actor needs to be able to easily
change into different character throughout the show, so the costume consists of a red flannel and
grey pants, with wolf ears and a tail. The costume is simple and practical, allowing the actor
movement. Hair is to be left natural. Footwear for all actors consists of black jazz shoes.

Character Design Breakdown

All three pigs in the show have a similar costume, the differences being their
clothing colours. Each pig is wearing a pink shirt and pink pants, with a vest in their character’s
colour. For pig one, the colour is red, pig two is yellow and pig three is green. The vests have
buttons on the exterior but are actually velcro on the inside for easy changes in and out of the
costume. Pig ears and noses are also a part of the costume. Long hair is to be pulled back.
Footwear for all actors consists of black jazz shoes.

The character design for the Hare is comprised of a simple base of a brown shirt
underneath a blue police vest with brown pants. Hare ears are also included. The costume is
basic and easy to change in and out of, and allows movement for the actor. Long hair is to be
pulled back. Footwear for all actors consists of black jazz shoes.

shirt with green pants, a police vest and a turtle shell. Footwear for all actors consists of black

Character Design Breakdown

The costume for the Emperor is comprised of a white tunic with a purple sash with gold
lining, and a gold fabric belt. This costume is easy to change in and out of, which helps for the
quick actor changes. Hair is to be left natural. Footwear for all actors consists of black jazz
shoes.
