    Teaching Science in the Elementary Level

    Is teaching science in elementary level will gain the attention of the students?

    Is doing surprise while teaching science in elementary, will the students get excited in learning
    science?

    Children’s at the age of 6 to 12, are starting to wander about their surrounding wherein it
    is somehow related in science, there are some questions that only science can answer.

    In this stage children’s are starting develop their social cognition.


    As the teachers thought science in their class. It plays an important role to learn, for every child
    as they wanted to learn more.
    Teaching science in primary grade school is significance to their daily lives, also to have
    knowledge on what science is, some of these, they are able to learn how the animals
    development or what is the life cycle of their favorite insects, like the butterfly and also they
    learn how the plant grow, why it is important to need a sun to grow a plant.

    In teaching science in elementary they have two types of students or learners, the first one
    is what we called the “fast learner”, those students who is fast learner, learners that easily catch
    up or understand the topic of their teacher. The second type of learner, are what we called,
    “slow learners” this is the opposite of fast learner, the teacher need strategies so that these
    students can understand what the lesson is.
    Learning science will guarantee, students excitement in to know more for the primary students,
    because science have its own way to gain the curiosity of learner.
    While learning they will also have fun, example of this as the students experiencing how to
    experiment and discovering about the world such as the topic of planets they are also finding
    their talent’s or how good they are in a certain scenario.

    As the students want to stimulate, what their teacher’s discussing, the teacher can also
    have his or her own strategies to have more the attention of their listeners, like you need to give
    them a prize or plus points for every activities or if they give some ideas that related to the topic.

    In additional, there are quote saying that the “Science is like Magic but it’s Real,”
    I also believe in this quote because, learning science will amazed you, but without realizing it
    reality and facts are coming out.
