Basic Tips to Keep In Mind
Apply masks on skin that is cleansed and exfoliated.
Exfoliation not only removes dead skin but also
enhances blood circulation.
Apply the mask after a shower or a bath. The warm
water will open the pores making it easy to remove dirt
from the face and skin.
Use a soft bristle brush to apply the face mask. It will
give an even application.
Apply the face mask in an upward motion by starting
from your upper neck and then making your way up
gently to your face. Avoid the lip and eye area.
Let the pack sit for 10 to 15 mins maximum.
Wash the mask off with warm water or room
temperature water.
Apply a toner like rose water after the mask as it will
lock in the benefits of the mask; mix a moisturizer with
the toner to moisturize the skin.
Wash of the mask before it dries of completely.
Blend the fruits well to extract as much pulp as
possible.
Keep your mind relaxed when you do a facial. Sit still
when applying the pack. It will allow the pack to rest
and prevent it from sliding off your face. It also helps
to calm you down and unwind.
Fruit packs can get messy. Make sure you cover your
clothes to avoid spilling.
Fruit Pulps for Skin
Some fruit pulps are fluid; they will not remain on
the skin. To add volume to them add oats to the
fruit pulp.

It will help the pack stay on your face. When


applying a pack cover both the face and the neck
area.

Adding these ingredients to the fruits will amp up


their benefits:

1. Honey – keeps the skin hydrated and


improves acne resistance.
2. Lemon Juice – helps kill bacteria, reduce
blemishes, improve complexion, and helps in
fighting acne.
3. Yoghurt – Removes excessive oil, protects
the skin against the harmful rays of the sun
and reduces tanning. It also makes your skin
smooth and soft.
4. Milk – acts as a moisturizing and cleansing
agent. It helps enhance skin elasticity and
improves complexion.
Rose Water &
Sandalwood Powder
You will need:
• One Teaspoon –Sandalwood powder
• One Teaspoon- Turmeric powder
• Few drops of rose water
Mix the above ingredients to form a smooth paste. Apply the
paste to the face and the neck. Keep it for about for 15
minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat the
process every alternate day to find a much fairer skin tone
in a very short span of time.
Bengal Gram Flour
(Besan) & Milk
You will need:
• Two Tablespoon Bengal Gram Flour
• One Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
• Two Tablespoon Raw Milk

Make a smooth paste of all the above items. If the paste


looks dry you can add more milk or some honey to it. Apply
it evenly all over the face and neck. Leave it on for about 15
to 20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water followed by
cold water. Apply a moisturizer soon after.  
Turmeric & Sesame
Seeds
You will need:
• Two tablespoon Sesame Seeds
• One teaspoon Turmeric powder

Soak sesame seed overnight in the water. In the


morning grind it to form a paste. Add turmeric
powder and few drops of lime. Apply the mask on
your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Later wash it
off with lukewarm water. For better results repeat
the process once in two days.
Neem, Turmeric &
Multani Mitti
You will need:
• One fistful washed Neem leaves
• One teaspoon –Turmeric Powder
• One tablespoon –Multani Mitti
• One tablespoon Milk or Yogurt 

Grind the Neem leaves to form a smooth paste. Add the


other mentioned ingredients to the mixture. Apply it on the
face and keep it for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it off with plain
water. Prolong use of this pack will remove blemishes and
produce a scintillating effect on your face.
Mint & Multani Mitti
You will need:
• One fistful of fresh Mint leaves
• One tablespoon of Multani Mitti
• Few drops of Rose water 

Grind the mint leaves to form a thick spread.


Add Multani Mitti and few drops of rose water.
Apply the paste to the face and the neck. Leave
it on for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm
water
Peach & Milk Face
Pack
You will need:
• I/4th chopped pieces of peach
• Two tablespoons of milk
• Few drops of honey

Blend chopped pieces of peach and milk until you


get a smooth creamy paste. Add few drops of
honey to it. Spread the thick paste evenly on your
face and wash it off after 15 minutes with water.
Your skin will appear silky smooth, white, and
lustrous.
Papaya & Rose
Water
You will need:
• Two tablespoons of papaya
• One teaspoon of Honey
• Few drops of Rosewater

Make a thick paste of papaya pulp. Add one


teaspoon of honey and rose water to it. Gently
massage the mask in an upwards circular
motion. After 10 minutes, rub an ice cube over
it.  You will find the results simply amazing.
Tomato &
Lime/Lemon Juice
You will need:
• One tablespoon of tomato juice
• Few drops of fresh lime/lemon juice

Mix both the ingredients together and spread


the mixture evenly all it over the face. Leave
the mixture for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with
lukewarm water. Repeat the process thrice a
week.
Papaya Face Pack
You will need:
• 1/4 bowl papaya
• 1/2 teaspoon sandalwood powder
• 1/2 teaspoon aloe vera gel
• Rose water

Mash the papaya. Add sandalwood powder and aloe vera gel
to it. Mix well. Add a few drops of rose water and mix
everything to get a homogeneous mixture.
Apply this on your face and let it dry for about 20 minutes.
Wash your face clean with tap water. Apply this face pack
2-3 times a week.
Red Clay Face Pack
You will need:
• 1 tablespoon red clay powder
• 1/2 teaspoon orange peel powder
• A pinch of turmeric
• 1/2 teaspoon honey
• Rose water

Mix all the ingredients together with adequate rose


water to get a paste of medium consistency.
Apply this on the face and keep it on for 10-15
minutes.
Gently wash off the face pack with lukewarm water.
Rinse your face with cool water after this. Use this
face pack twice a week.
Banana Face Pack
You will need:
• 1/2 banana
• 1/2 teaspoon honey
• 1 teaspoon yogurt
• Few drops of rose water

Mash the banana and add the other ingredients to


it. Mix well. Apply this on the face and let it dry
naturally for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off with
lukewarm water. Repeat this twice every week.
Oatmeal Face Pack
You will need:
• 2 tablespoons oatmeal
• 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder
• Rose water

To the oatmeal and sandalwood powder, add


enough rose water to get a thick paste.
Apply this paste on the face.
Leave the face pack on for 15 minutes and then
wash it off using upward scrubbing motions. Do
this twice a week.
Tomato Face Pack
You will need:
• 1 small tomato
• 1 tablespoon sugar

Chop and mash the tomato. Add sugar to this and mix it
well. Apply this mixture on your face and neck.
Leave this on for 10 minutes. Wet your fingertips and
massage the face in upward strokes for a few minutes.
Now, rinse off the tomato face pack with cool water. Use
this as a face pack only every alternate day. Do not scrub
your face more than two times in a week.
Rose Petals & Milk
You will need:
• 2 tablespoons sandalwood powder
• 2 tablespoons milk
• Few rose petals

Blend everything together to get a smooth paste.


Apply on the skin and let the pack dry for 15-20
minutes.
Rinse it off with cool water. Repeat this twice a
week for best results.
Almond Face Pack
You will need:

• 5-6 almonds
• 1-2 tablespoons milk

Soak the almonds in water overnight.


Crush and blend these soaked almonds with milk
the next day to get a paste.
Apply this on the face and neck.
Rinse it off after 15 minutes. Apply this face pack
2-3 times in a week.
Besan Face Pack
You will need:
• 2 tablespoons besan (gram flour)
• 1 tablespoon milk cream (or rose water)
• Few drops of lemon juice
• A pinch of turmeric

Mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth


paste. Use rose water instead of milk cream if you
are sensitive to dairy products. Apply this in an
even layer on your face and let it dry. After 15-20
minutes, wash off the pack with cool water. Use
this face pack 1-2 times a week.
Egg Face Pack
You will need:
• 1 egg white
• 1 tablespoon gram flour
• Few drops of lemon juice

Beat the egg white well and then add the gram flour and
lemon juice to it. Mix well. Apply this carefully on your face
and leave it on for 10-15 minutes or until it dries.
Rinse it off with lukewarm water first and then with cool
water. A teaspoon of honey can be added to the face pack
to make it suitable for dry skin. Apply this egg face pack 1-
2 times a week.
Cucumber Mask
You will need:
• 1/4 cucumber
• 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel

Cut the cucumber and mash or blend it to get an


almost smooth paste. Add the aloe gel to this and
mix well.
Apply this blend on the face and let it sit for 15-
20 minutes. Rinse it off with plain water. It is
advised to use this face pack every alternate day.
It can also be used every day.
Papaya & Honey
You will need:
• 2 pieces of papaya
• 1 tsp. of honey

Blend the papaya such that it becomes a nice, smooth pulp.


Add the honey to it. Apply generously on clean, dry skin.
Allow it to rest for about 15 to 20 minutes. Wash your face
with water and pat dry. Once you moisturize, you will notice
a healthy glow on your face. This pack is safe to use for
women with normal to dry skin. Use this pack once a week
for best results.
Kiwi & Avocado
You will need:
• 1 avocado
• 1 kiwi
• 1 tsp. of honey

De-skin the avocado and the kiwi, and mash them together
such that they form a smooth, creamy paste. Add the honey
and mix well. Apply the paste on your face and neck, and
leave it on for about 30 minutes. Rinse with water and pat
dry your skin to see an instant glow. Don’t forget to
moisturize your skin. This face pack works extremely well for
all skin types. Apply this pack once a week for best results.
Banana Face Pack
You will need:
• ½ banana
• ½ tsp. honey
• 1 tsp. lemon juice

Mash the banana and add the honey and lemon juice to it.
Mix well and apply it on clean skin.
Leave it on for about 20 minutes and wash it off. Although
women with all skin types can use this pack, it really helps
those with oily, acne-prone skin.
Tomato Face Pack
You will need:
• 1 tomato
• 1 tbsp. oatmeal
• 1 tsp. yogurt

Blend the tomatoes such that they become smooth and pulpy.
Add the oatmeal and the yoghurt to the tomatoes.
Apply this mask generously on your face and neck. Leave it
on for 10 minutes and then wash it off. Tomatoes can be
used on any skin type. If yogurt does not suit your skin, you
could add milk and honey to the pack instead for the same
effects. This pack can be applied every week.
Orange Peel Face Pack
You will need:
• 3 oranges
• 1 tbsp. yogurt
• 1 tsp. honey

Peel three oranges and save the skin. Break the peels into
small bits and rinse them. Spread them out and allow to dry in
the sun for about three days. Once dry, give them a blitz such
that they become a fine powder. You could store the orange
peel powder in a clean, dry bottle. For the pack, mix 2 tsp.
orange peel powder with the honey and the yoghurt, and apply
on clean skin. Leave it on for about 20 minutes, and then wash
your face. This pack works best for women with oily skin. It
can be used once a week.
Cucumber & Milk Pack
You will need:
• ½ cucumber
• ¼ cup milk
• 1 tbsp. of honey
• 1 tbsp. of brown sugar

Peel a cucumber and blend it to make a puree. Mix the milk,


honey, and brown sugar, and once it emulsifies well, add the
cucumber puree to it. Apply this mixture on your face, and
leave it on for about 20 minutes. Wash your face and pat
dry. Whether your skin is oily, dry or normal, you can use
this face pack. Use it once or twice a week.
Strawberry &
Chocolate Pack
You will need:
• 4 strawberries
• 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
• 1 tsp. honey 

Blend the strawberries until they become a smooth pulp.


Add cocoa powder and honey to this pulp. Apply this pack on
your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Wash it off
with warm water and pat dry for gorgeous, glowing
skin. Women with all skin types can use this indulgent face
pack. Use once a week when strawberries are in season.
Grapes & Apple
Face Pack
You will need:
• ½ apples
• 7 green grapes 

Blend together the apple and the grapes, until it


becomes a smooth, soft paste. Apply on clean
skin, and leave it on for half an hour. Wash and
pat dry. No matter your skin type, you can safely
use this face pack twice a week.
Mango Face Pack
You will need:
• 1 ripe mango
• 2 to 3 tsp. of fuller’s earth (Multani Mitti)

Remove all the pulp of a ripe mango and mash it until it is


smooth. Add fuller’s earth to it, and make a thick, smooth
paste. Apply this pack on your face and neck, and leave it on
for about 30 minutes. Once the pack dries, wash it off,
scrubbing gently in circular motions. You will see how soft
and hydrated your skin looks instantly. This pack works well
for all skin types. You could use this pack once in two
weeks.
Orange/Lemon Peel
& Milk
You will need:
• 1 tablespoon orange or lemon peel powder
• 1 tablespoon raw milk

Make a smooth paste with the milk and citrus peel powder
of your choice. Add more peel powder if the mixture is too
runny. Once ready, apply the paste on your face. Let it dry
for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with water. If you
are using dried lemon peel, after adding the milk, you can
grate it in a food mixer. Use this face pack twice or thrice a
week.
Multani Mitti Face
Pack
You will need:
• 2 tablespoons Multani Mitti (Fuller’s earth)
• 1 tablespoon tomato juice
• 1/2 teaspoon sandalwood powder
• Rose water

Mix all the ingredients with enough rose water to get a


paste of medium consistency. Apply this paste on your face
and wait for 15 minutes before washing it off. You can also
use coconut water instead of tomato juice in this face
pack. Apply this once or twice a week.
Honey & Lemon
You will need:
Mix 1 tsp of honey and the equal quantity of
lemon juice together.

Clean your skin gently with lukewarm water.


Pat your skin dry. Apply the lemon and honey
mixture to your skin. Leave it for 20 minutes.
Wash it off gently with lukewarm water. It is
very useful face pack for clearing out the
acne. Even if you have a skin which is
extremely dry or oily, this mixture helps in
making your skin healthier.
Aloe Vera & Turmeric
You will need:
Mix 1 tsp. of aloe vera with an equal quantity
of turmeric.
Wash your face with plain water and pat it dry
with a clean towel. Apply the mixture to acne
area. Let this mixture on your skin dry for 20
minutes. Afterwards, wash it off with lukewarm
water. Apply some medicinal moisturizer to keep
the skin hydrated. This pack helps you in
keeping your skin in its best condition.
Fuller's Earth &
Orange Juice
You will need:
Mix 1 tsp. of Multani Mitti with freshly squeezed
orange juice to make a paste.

Wash your face with plain water. Apply the paste to your skin.
Keep the paste on your face till it becomes dry. After the face
has dried completely, you can massage it with water and
remove it in a circular motion. Wash your face with plain water.
Apply medicated moisturizers to avoid your skin becoming dry.
The face pack has to be applied on a regular basis so as to get
the best results and get rid of acne. 
Lemon, Cucumber &
Tomato
You will need:
Mix cucumber paste, lemon juice and tomato pulp in equal
quantity. Make sure the mixture is thick enough to be
applied to your face.

Clean your face with water and pat it dry. Apply this face
pack evenly. Leave it for around 20 minutes. Wash your
face with lukewarm water. Cucumber, tomato and lemon
help in controlling the oil secretion and make your skin
free from acne marks. You can use this face pack regularly
to get the healthier-looking skin.
Carrot Mask
You will need:
• 1 or 2 fresh carrots
• 1/2 tablespoon honey

Grind the carrot extract mix with 1 tbsp. honey


and apply it to the face. Let the pack dry for 15
minutes on your face, later you can wash it with
cold water for amazing results.
Mint Mask
You will need:

• A handful of Pudina (Mint) leaves


• 1 Tablespoon of rose water

Make the powder of dried Pudina leaves and


mix rose water in it to make it a paste. Apply
it to face and clean it with water after 2
hours.
