The school informed parents through various campaigns and advised them to bring necessary documents. While kindergarten enrollment decreased due to age changes, grade 1 enrollment remained steady and grade 7 enrollment increased. Overall, the early registration was successful due to active parent participation.

    NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF EARLY REGISTRATION 2020

    The Department of Education officially launched the early registration for incoming
    Kinder, Grade 1 and Grade 7 for school year 2020 – 2021 from February 01 – March 06,
    2019 with the theme, “Makapag-aral ay Karapatan Mo, Magpalista”.

    Emilia L. Malabanan Integrated School conducted the said activity also with the help
    of and active participation of our PTA Officers who cascaded the information in the
    community to reach out all concerned parents to ensure the enrollment of their children for
    the school year 2020 - 2021.

    Prior to the early registration day, necessary preparation was made; like house to
    house enrollment campaign, announcements were posted in the barangay, flyers were given
    and even on the internet, information was cascaded so that everyone gets informed about the
    said activity.

    Because of this collaboration and massive campaign, parents from the community
    brought their children to school for listing. The school also advised these parents, that the
    birth certificate of the concerned pupils and other necessary documents shall be strictly
    monitored and that they must comply otherwise their children will not be enrolled and will
    not be counted as official enrollee of the school.

    The number of the upcoming Kindergarten pupils decreased due to the change of age
    requirement. On the other hand, the number of the upcoming Grade 1 pupils remained.
    Unlike for the previous registration, the number of incoming Grade 7 increased for the
    upcoming school year.

    All in all, we can conclude that the early registration was successful as the parents
    actively participated on the said activity.
