EARLY REGISTRATION
SY. 2021 - 2022
March 26 to April 2021, was declared by the Department of Education as early registration day for school year
2021 – 2022 in the public elementary and secondary schools in order to achieve universal participation and completion
of the cycle. San Felipe Elementary School joined and conducted the said activity with special participation of local and
barangay officials to take part of the massive advocacy campaign to reach all of school children and all five- six years old
incoming Kindergarten to ensure their enrollment for the school year 2021-2022. Prior to the early registration day,
necessary preparation was made: like hanging of tarpaulin, announcements were posted in every zone of the barangay,
so that parents in the community where really informed. Schools are instructed to use the Modified Basic Education
Enrollment Form which was provided the former LIS coordinator, Mrs. Cherry Ann M. Anog. She then created a link for
pupils who have internet at home so that they can enroll electronically and hassle free. On the day of registration, the
teachers of San Felipe Elementary School assisted the parents on how to fill-up online forms and they parents also
enrolled their children through text and call as suggested by Mrs. Marilou Flotado. The teachers of Grade 1 pupils also
provided drop boxes for the enrollment. Instructions was also posted on Facebook on how to enroll and what to bring
during enrollment. Many parents responded positively to the new way of enrolling their children. Since the massive
campaign done on that day, as far as the enrolment is concerned, we noticed and observed the increase of the school
enrolment for the school year 2021- 2022. Therefore, the school this year is really in need of additional classroom
buildings, teachers, modules, and desks to meet and respond the call and the objectives of education for all. We really,
look forward that our needs and assistance will be given and answered to prevent pupils from dropping out for school.
