Pattern Notes:
This little crown is the perfect project for last minute gifts, fancy dress outfits, or just to knit for fun in between
projects. Gauge isn’t crucial; with a fine yarn and small needles you can make a delicate circlet, use thicker
yarn and bigger needles for a more robust, stately piece The desirable fabric should be firm but flexible. The
circlet is designed to fit the head sizes listed above with 2 - 3 inches of negative ease.
To begin:
CO 6 stitches.
Note: After row 11, the WS is facing and the 1st stitch of row 12 has been knit, and is on the right needle, ready to
be bound off.
Repeat rows 1-12 until piece measures: 11 (13, 15, 16, 18) inches / 28 (33, 38, 40.5, 45.5) cm from cast on edge.
After working the next bobble (row 11), bind off all stitches instead of working row 12. Seam together the cast on
edge with the bound off edge, being careful not to twist your work. Weave in the ends on WS.
