STORIES

A Thirsty Crow
Once upon a time there was a crow, he was very thirsty. He flew about in search of water,
however he could not find it anywhere.
At last he reached a beautiful garden. There he saw a pitcher of water. The water was too
low his beak could not reached to the water.
He saw the pebbles lying nearby. He hit upon a plan. He brought the pebbles one by one
and dropped them into the pitcher. The water rose up. He drank water and flew away. He
was very happy.
Moral: need is the mother of invention
Or
God help those who help themselves

THE GREADY DOG


There was a dog. He found a piece of meat. He picked it up. He began to run till he reached
the bank of a river. There was a bridge over the river. When he was crossing the bridge he
saw his own shadow in the water. He took it for another dog with a piece of meat. He
wanted to get this piece. He barked at the shadow. Thus he opened his mouth his own piece
of meat fell down into the water.
Moral: greed is curse.
