Final Na Living Rosary Script 7
LEADERS:
LEADER 2: My children, the Holy Spirit had come upon the Infant Church never to leave it. The
feast of the Pentecost is the birthday of the Church, and since then, up to this day, it has
continued to grow. Pray to the Heavenly Father for the power of the Holy Ghost to fill you with
love and with boldness. Pray to the Father that the fire of the Spirit will purify you from all trace
of sin. My children, if you are in sin, go and seek forgiveness in the sacrament of reconciliation
and then pray to my Son that the Holy Ghost will fill your soul with every grace necessary for
your salvation and for the salvation of others. Also, my children, share the good news that Jesus
is the Savior of the world and there is no other Savior but Jesus. I will pray that the Lord will use
you in power and by the grace of the Holy Ghost you will be transformed into witnesses for
Jesus.

LEADER 1: In the name of the Father…
(Requintana Family)
LEADER 2- The first mystery is the Annunciation of the Angel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In
Luke, the Angel Gabriel greets Mary with the title, “Full of Grace”. This title indicates “that God has
already ‘graced’ Mary previous to this point, making her a vessel who ‘has been’ and ‘is now’ filled
with divine life.” The angel then tells Mary, “you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and
you shall call his name Jesus”. Mary, having “no husband”, inquires as to how this will come about.
The angel responds, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will
overshadow you.” Mary embraces God’s will with trust and humility: “Behold, I am the handmaid of
the Lord; let it be to me according to your word”.
LEADER 1 (REFLECTION): The Heavenly Father asks Mary to usher in our salvation into human
history by saying Yes to God’s eternal Word. Mary humbly asks a question of how this will come
about. After hearing the answer from the angel that this will happen by the power of the Holy Spirit,
she gives her loving consent to be the mother of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is our Savior and
Redeemer, but He waits to hear Mary’s fiat; her yes to bring this about. God does not force his
mercy and love, but always extends an invitation to open our hearts and minds, with the help of His
grace.
LEADER 2 (PETITION): Let us offer this mystery for the people who are losing courage in facing
challenges in their lives especially in this time of pandemic. For those who have doubts in saying
“Yes” to God’s call. We pray that they may imitate the courage and humility of Mary, so that, they
may be able to surrender all their worries to the Lord.

SECOND MYSTERY
LEADER 1: The second mystery is the Nativity of Jesus. In the second chapter of the Gospel
according to Luke we have the only account of the birth of Christ in all four gospels. While Joseph
and Mary were in Bethlehem, in response to a decree from Caesar that all should be enrolled, “the
time came for her to be delivered. And she gave birth to her first-born son, wrapped him in
swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn”.
LEADER 2: (REFLECTION): Jesus was born on a piercing cold winter night in a shelter for animals, the
most humble place imaginable! He came to earth to serve, not to be served (Mark 10:45). Do we
live our lives in service to others or to ourselves? Are we storing up earthly treasures, or do we
strive each day to add more heavenly treasures to our stockpile?
LEADER 1: (PETITION): Let us offer this mystery to help those who are suffering and facing obstacles
in life. For those who are unable to accept what they have and cannot share to others. We pray that
our desires in serving others may ignite.

FATIMA PRAYER
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls into heaven
especially those who need most of your divine mercy.
LEADER 1: (REFLECTION): It is during the baptism that the world is given a clear glimpse of who
Jesus Christ is. The Scripture says, “And a voice came from the heavens, saying, ‘This is my beloved
Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Mt 3:17). Imagine what it would be like to stand on the bank of
the river, observing this monumental moment. The Son of God, incarnate on earth, inaugurating His
ministry to the children He created, and the moment is emphasized by the ringing voice of the
Father, debuting His Son for all mankind. The public ministry of Christ began here in this moment, in
the flowing, life-giving waters of the Jordan River. A light shone on Jesus – a light which would never
be extinguished, and which would guide all mankind for the rest of time.
LEADER 2: (PETITION Let us offer this mystery, to pray for the grace of a deeper conversion. In our
baptism we have received the light of Christ in our hearts, we offer this so that His Grace may renew
them constantly and reach also all those who have not been baptized and does not know Him.

FOURTH MYSTERY
LEADER 1: The fourth mystery is the Crucifixion of Jesus. Jesus is nailed on the cross and dies after
three hours of pain. In his first letter to the Corinthians, St. Paul writes, “Christ died for our sins in
accordance with the scriptures”. That the death of Christ was foretold in the Old Testament is one
of the ways in which we know that “Jesus’ violent death was not the result of chance in an
unfortunate coincidence of circumstances, but is part of the mystery of God’s plan” (CCC 599).
LEADER 2: (REFLECTION): After recalling the presence of Mary and the other women at the Lord's
cross, St John relates and reveals how Jesus Christ establishes a new relationship of love between
Mary and the Church, us, Christians.
The reality brought about by Jesus' words, that is, Mary's new motherhood in relation to the
disciple, is a further sign of the great love that led Jesus to offer his life for all people. On Calvary this
love is shown in the gift of a mother, his mother, who thus becomes our mother too.
May each one of us, precisely through the concrete reality of Mary's universal motherhood,
fully acknowledge her as our own Mother, and trustingly commend ourselves to her maternal love.
By this we ask the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary who calls people to repentance, to a
conversion of heart – a thing that is badly needed by our country. The effects of sin are destructive;
they steal some of the most precious things we have: peace, a sense of wholeness, and a sense of
unity with God and each other. Without peace, our world and our inner selves can quickly fall apart.
LEADER1 (PETITION): Let us offer this prayer for all the victims of injustice and abuse, in all its
forms, in our country, particularly those who suffer and have died from extra-judicial killings, war
and terrorism, hazing and neglect in the family. May they find strength and solace in the love and
mercy of God through Mary’s maternal care and constant help.

(10 HAIL MARY’S)
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and
will be forever. Amen.
FATIMA PRAYER
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls into heaven
especially those who need most of your divine mercy.
LEADER 2: On the first day of the week after his crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead. St. Matthew
recounts how women came to anoint Jesus’ dead body. When they got to the tomb they found that
the large stone covering the entrance had been rolled back. The women went into the tomb and
saw only a young man dressed in white, who told the women, “Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of
Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him. But go,
tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told
you”.
LEADER 1 (REFLECTION): By our sins Jesus was crucified. He submitted himself to death out of
unconditional love for us. His resurrection is the perfect continuation of this saving work. Out of
love for us, God raises Jesus to life – and all of us with him. Am I preoccupied by my sinfulness? Do I
think that they put an obstacle between me and God? But look at how Jesus has loved me to the
point of death. -- He has borne those very sins that preoccupy me. In his resurrection he has
transformed those dark aspects of me into light! The love of God has the final say and it is an eternal
one.
LEADER 2 (PETITION): Let us offer this mystery for the strengthening of our faith in God. To those
who are frightened in having the courage to overcome the dark and follow Him into the light. We
pray that we can learn to progress, move forward and look at the bright side, that there will be
peace after all the troubles we face, personally and in our community.

CONCLUDING PRAYER
BOTH Leaders:
O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the
rewards of eternal life. Grant, we beseech thee that in meditating upon these mysteries of the most
Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they
promise through Christ our Lord, Amen.
LEADER 2: In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit… Amen.
