Title: Different Types of Errors in MS Excel

Here are some error while using excel.

1. ####### Error:-
Problem: The width of the column is not enough to display all the characters in a cell.

Fix: To fix the error, extend the width of the column.

2. # Div/0! Error:-
Problem: When a number is divided by zero or either by empty cell, excel display error.

Fix: The number must not be equal to zero.

3. #Name? Error:-
Problem: Excel does not recognize the text in a formula. This is due to misspelling the
function names.

Fix: Correct the error by entering the proper spellings.

4. #REF! Error:-
Problem: When a cell reference is not valid, error will displayed. It is usually caused by
deleting cells that a formula is referring to.

Fix: Refer the cells to the correct ranges.

5. #Value! Error:-
Problem: This type of error appears when a value is not expected type i.e when a function
that is expecting a number is given a text value.

Fix: To provide expected value i.e when a function that is expecting a number is given
a numeric value then the error will be corrected.

6. #NUM! Error:
Problem: The formula or function contains invalid numeric values.
Fix: Using $ % symbols with the number can result in this error, so avoid using these.

7. #NULL! Error:-
Problem: This error is shown when you use an incorrect range operator in a formula, or
when you use an intersection operator (space character) between range references to
specify an intersection of two ranges that don’t intersect.

Fix: The solution of these error is to separate cell references correctly.
