    Water pump switching on/off using phone call .

    Introduction
    I have been searching for a solution to reducing the problem for farmers to
    monitoring the irrigation pump which is situated in remote area it is really hard
    for them start and stop the pump time to time . Many circuits have been
    developed to solve this problem. Most of them are expensive and
    microcontroller based. Here we present a phone call based water pump
    controller that can be operated by a phone call. By calling the cell phone
    attached to the controller, the water pump can be directly activated.

    Functionality
    The water pump controller is connected to a dedicated cell phone through
    audio jack connector with auto-answering mode enabled. The DTMF signal
    sent from the user end is decoded by the DTMF decoder and the
    corresponding binary-
    Once microcontroller send the output , its output goes high for the time period
    depends on the values of resistors and capacitor. The high output from the
    micro-controller energises relay to switch on the water pump.

    The triggering pulse for MC is generated by DTMF decoder IC .

    Applicatins

    Another applications are that we can use this prototype to


    any kind of device to control the switching of that device.

    Total cost of the product approximately 800 taka .

    Physibilty
    Most of equipment available in nearby electronic shop in Dhaka .
