After researching the internet, I got some prominent research society where different expertise people
publish their paper. IEEE and ResearchGate are two of them.
There are two peer-reviewed journals
1. IEEE Computer Society
2. ACM Association for Computer Machinery.

A published paper concerning operating systems
A classification of terminal devices followed by a comprehensive overview of all the types of OS and an
analysis of the trends in their further development were required.

1. In my opinion, I feel that the analysts that insist that Moore’s Law has been a predictor of
chip design because Gordon Moore knew that through his predictions that the capacity of
these chip would increase. I do not think that he would have predicted that every chip that
would be released in the future would not only have larger capacity, but the sizes of the
chips would become smaller and would be able to be used in devices such as smartphones
and laptops. I think that being able to increase the capacity of the chips were going to be
something that would be evolutionary.
2. Five operation system rather than mentioned in table 1.1:
HarmonyOS, is an upcoming free, microkernel-based distributed operating system being

developed by Huawei. Unveiled on 9 August 2019, the platform is designed primarily for
Internet of things devices.
EulerOS is a commercial Linux distribution developed by Huawei Technologies based on

CentOS for enterprise applications. It is one of five commercial operating systems that have
versions certified to The Open Group's UNIX 03 standard
LynxOS RTOS is a Unix-like real-time operating system from Lynx Software Technologies.
Sometimes known as the Lynx Operating System, LynxOS features full POSIX conformance
and, more recently, Linux compatibility. LynxOS is mostly used in real-time embedded
systems.
Azure Sphere is a secured, high-level application platform with built-in communication and
security features for internet-connected devices. The platform consists of the integration of
hardware built around a secured silicon chip; the Azure Sphere OS (operating system), a
custom high-level Linux-based operating system
The Xbox 360 system software or the Xbox 360 Dashboard is the updateable software and
operating system for the Xbox 360. It formerly resided in a 16 MB file system. However,
starting with the NXE Update, more storage became a requirement, rectified by either
having a Hard Drive installed, or one of the later revisions of the console with adequate flash
storage embedded within the console.
3. Multiprogramming means keeping several programs in memory at once. Only one program
out of those in memory can run at a time. When the currently running program has to
temporarily stop for a while the operating system will switch the CPU to run another
program in memory.
Active multiprogramming when the job is currently executing on the CPU. At any time, at
most one job can be in this state.
Passive multiprogramming when the job is blocked from running on the CPU while waiting
for an I/O request to be completed.
