most? ( Local or Abroad ) Why? A. The Learner B. The Learning Environment C. The Pay 4.
Let’s be practical here ,teaching abroad can be
one of the best decisions you can make, The number one reason is its very attractive salary. Teachers are paid a way more than teaching in our own country. In teaching abroad ,you have to make sure you’re properly prepared for the experience you will have in another country. Il be honest that before pandemic I already searched for teaching abroad in the US. But this pandemic make me realize that it’s better to work here in my own country. When teaching abroad there are many challenges you will face up front. To begin with, the learning environment. Teaching overseas is not easy ,since you are not familiar with the place the culture the humidity and atmosphere you have to adjust a lot unlike when we are in our own country we are used to the weather .Another thing to consider teaching abroad is the kind of student you will have. Different culture, alot of adjustment since foreigner studnets does not act like what you expect your normal student you have in our country .Mostly American students have this dominant behavior that is not easy to manage. So if I will choose, teaching in our country is still the best option to take. You have your families with you and the environment that your comfortable with.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed
the lives of people, Schools and universities have closed, exams and events postponed, the usual health information services are limited, socializing with friends and wider family is highly discouraged and in some places even punishable. Living in these circumstances can be tough for young people for their social, physical and mental well being. Covid 19 is a diseases that spread globally .Access to healthcare and the broad adoption of hygiene practices can have a significant effect in reducing the impact of a pandemic. Teaching this student how we can help minimize the spread of the disease is so vital today. In one of the module we have distributed in our students, one topic tackles respiratory and circulatory disease. So in those modules students are taught in hygiene practice that they should follow, social distancing and other ways they can do to help minimize the spread of the disease at home and in the community. So in this way, learning becomes effective when put into local context because students are better able to relate to the content and material through familiar examples. The students were able to relate local issues and the global concepts studied in my class so I would say I am a “ Glocal” teacher.
