Are You A Manager, Administrator or A Leader?
The role that suits me is the role of being a Leader .Being a leader because I love
to help and work with my co-workers. I am an open-minded person and I don’t allow
negativity vibes while working the given task or responsibility. I often live the quote that
teamwork makes the dream work that we can possibly get things done if we will work
together as a team. I am also capable of good criticism because I always think at the
benefit that I will get from the critics to somehow improve my performance for the
better.
The challenges and difficulties of each role is that it tests your ability to
uphold the role you have. It also tests your patience in handling people who are
unlovable in your workplace. It also test you on how responsible and accountable

Out of 14 Van’s principles of management there are three factors for successful
management in our own school’s perspective. These are the following; Principle of
of Individual Interest to General Interest. First, is the division of work when there is a
specific task assigned to us we always share the effort to divide tasks in order to finish it
ahead of time. Teamwork is one of the strongest traits we have in our school. Second,
is the principle of Authority and Responsibility. In our school, each employee upholds
the characteristic of having the authority and responsibility of doing the task. For
instance, when one of us had this event such as Buwan ng Wika or even other monthly
events in the school, he/she will always demand for a meeting to be able to grasp the
suggestions and to divide the tasks with of all of his/her co-workers that will help in
making the even a successful one. He/she is always responsible by monitoring and
guiding the members about the task. Lastly, the principle of subordination of individual
interest to general interest before we decide on the different things to be done in the
school, our school head will really initiate faculty meeting wherein everyone’s voice are
to be heard and everyone’s opinion or suggestions are taken to account. Anyone can
speak up especially when the concern and its benefits affect everybody. That’s why the
management of our school is healthy and well-managed by the School head with the

services and that level of their salary is dependent on their position. In Deped,
formal selection is dependent on the affiliations that you had as well as your
performance

The leadership style of our school administration is quite wonderful it is because our School
Head practiced the Authoritative way of handling his/her constituents. She is not strict but firm in
her decisions, rules and plans. She is not relax but gives leeway whenever pressure and anxiety
comes in the workplace. She is one of the few that can really uphold her authority to someone
The SALIENT POINT OF K-12 PROGRAM The K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and
12 years of basic education (six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School, and

two years of Senior High School [SHS]). Based on my opinion, the salient features of the K-12 is
necessary and somewhat helpful in providing education for the all of the learners in the
Philippines. One of those advantages is that it helps us to be globally competent for we are
already adapting the same level of and minimum to maximum years of schooling. This is the key
that we are no longer behind to the other non- 3 rd world countries we can be at par with them. In
our context, this is an advantage for those learners who can’t afford to go to college but can have
a decent job after senior highschool graduation they are very much qualified to apply for a job.
Each salient features of the K to 12 BEP plays a vital role specially in moulding the young
learner. It is one of the benefits that the child has undergone Kindergarten because it serves as a
preparation for him or her in schooling. 6 years in elementary is enough to equipped the child the
necessary competence that he or she will be bringing when he/she proceeds in High School.
Next, 6 years in Highschool is somewhat appropriate because it helps the learner reaches its legal
age at Senior Highschool when he or she can be able to think more maturely and rationally about
the realistic version of the world. However, it depends on the learner whether he/she have done
good or bad in his or her formation. I have no negative reactions when it comes to the salient
features of the K-12 BEP but its curriculum implementation is somewhat or quite vague due to the
