MEDHAVI national scholarship scheme under Human Resources Development Mission

(HRDM) Invites ONLINE APPLICATION for ‘SAMADHAN’ scholarship examination – 2021.

OPENING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION (OA) THROUGH MEDHAVI APP IS
00:00 HRS ON 15/01/2021.
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION (OA) THROUGH MEDHAVI APP IS
23:59 HRS ON 15/02/2021.

SAMADHAN SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION - 2021

MEDHAVI national scholarship scheme invites application for the ‘SAMADHAN scholarship
examination – 2021’. Under this exam, scholarships will be awarded solely on MERIT basis, to
candidates who qualify prescribed exam.

OBJECTIVE: Main objective of this exam is to provide a COMMPLETELY FREE solution to

scholars from all sections of society, in the form of cash benefit of Rs.300 to Rs.1000 directly into
their bank account after qualifying a prescribed exam. This will enable such scholars to fill various
paid application forms of jobs, entrance exams, scholarships, etc. including various Medhavi
scholarships examinations such as SWABHIMAN, SAKSHAM, SWAWLAMBAN & newGEN.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The selection process for the scholarship will comprise of an ONLINE Test of Multiple Choice
Questions (MCQs).

The structure of the Examination is as follows:

NOTE: All questions will be available in English & Hindi except English Language section.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS - For each wrong answer 1/3rd (one third) of the marks assigned
to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by
the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

NOTE
Test will be conducted only on MEDHAVI ANDROID APPLICATION. Application can be downloaded
from Google Play store, the link to download mobile application is also provided on the website
http://www.medhavionline.org, all updates regarding exam will be updated on the website,
candidates must visit website to know latest information/updates regarding scholarship exams.

Candidates are also advised to attempt ‘MOCK TEST’, well in advance, available at the MEDHAVI
APPLICATION and become familiar with the format of examination.

The exam will consist of 4 (four) sections, the candidate will have to complete the exam
within given time. To avert any chance of discrepancy, there shall be no back option,
which means candidates will not be able to go back to previously answered/unanswered
question to change/mark the answer. Candidates need to attempt the question
appearing on the screen or press next button leaving the question unanswered.
Candidate must make sure that they attempt provided questions within given time limit
as no extra time will be given. Test will be auto-submitted on completion of time.

FEE FOR TEST

a) THIS TEST IS COMPLETELY FREE FOR ALL CATEGORIES CANDIDATES, WHICH MEANS
APPLICANT’S DO NOT NEED TO PAY ANY FEE.

b) REGISTRATION TO ONLINE TEST IS 100% FREE BUT MERELY REGISTRATION DOES NOT
ENTITLE AN APPLICANT FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP, TO BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR THE
SCHOLARSHIP, CANDIDATE MUST QUALIFY THE PRESCRIBED SCHOLARSHIP EXAM.

SCHOLARSHIP:
A total of 1128 number of scholarship are available out of which 398 candidates will be
awarded Type A scholarship i.e. Rs.1000/- (single payment only); 473 candidates will be awarded
Type B scholarship i.e. Rs.500/- (single payment only); 257 candidates will be awarded Type C
scholarship i.e. Rs.300/- (single payment only).
Number of scholarship is subject to merit list, number of application received and other
factors, which means that the number of scholarship may be increased or decreased, if the
circumstances so warrant. Decision of the organization shall be final in this regard.
Scholarship will be paid in single payment.

Result will be prepared solely on the basis of merit of candidates. Merit list in any case will not
be less than 40% of the maximum marks, no candidate will be considered for merit securing less
than 40% marks.

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP TO SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

After the declaration of result, only successful candidates need to provide required bank
account details.
Payment of scholarship amount to candidates will be done through transfer in the bank
account (using bank account number and IFS code of the bank) in the name of the successful
candidate only. All applicants are directed to have an active bank account in their own name
only. Scholarship amount will not be transferred to a bank account with different name other
than the name of successful/eligible candidate and no request will be entertained in this regard.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates are requested to apply online through MEDHAVI ANDROID APPLICATION only against
this advertisement, published on the website http://www.medhavionline.org and NOT write to
the Organization for Application forms. They are also requested to go through carefully the details
and instructions published on the website http://www.medhavionline.org

AGE LIMIT:
Minimum age limit is 16 years and maximum 40 years for all category candidates.

CITIZENSHIP:
A Candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of
permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan,
Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the
intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in
whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A candidate must have passed matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a board
recognized by the central government or state government.
Matriculation /10th is only minimum qualification which means candidates who have
passed intermediate/12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation or any other degree/diploma, higher than
matriculation/10th can apply for this scholarship.

HOW TO APPLY:

Note: CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO FILL THEIR CORRECT AND ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESSES IN THE
ONLINE APPLICATION AS ALL CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE MADE THROUGHE-MAIL ONLY. FURTHER
SCHEDULE AND REQUIREMENTS (if any) WITH REGARD TO COPIESOF CERTIFCATES TO BE
SUBMITTED IN RESPECT OF CLAIMS MADE IN THE ONLINE APPLICATION WILL BE E-MAILED IN DUE
COURSE TO THE CANDIDATES TO THEIR REGISTERED E-MAIL ID OR WILL BE POSTED ON THE
WEBSITE. CANDIDATES MUST INSTALL MEDHAVI ANDROID APPLICATION AND VISIT NOTIFICATION
SECTION ON REGULAR BASIS TO GET ALL UPDATES REGARDING SCHOLARSHIP EXAM.

1. Candidates must apply online through MEDHAVI ANDROID APPLICATION only. Applications
received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

2. Filling of Personal Details.

3. Submit the form.

4. A confirmation mail consisting registration ID will be sent to the E-mail of the candidate.

5. After submitting the Online Application (OA), the candidates are required to take snap shot of
the finally submitted Online Application (OA).

6. Candidates are not required to submit to the Organization either by post or by hand the
printouts of their online applications or any other document.

7. The candidates are advised to submit the Online Application well in advance without waiting
for the closing date.

8. NO NEED OF UPLOADING PHOTO OR SIGNATURE OF THE APPLICANT.

9. ONLY SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT BANK DETAILS UNDER ‘CLAIM
SCHOLARSHIP’ SECTION OF THE MEDHAVI APP.
CLAIM SCHOLARSHIP SECTION WILL BE ACTIVATED AFTER THE DECLARATION OF RESULT FOR
THE GIVEN PERIOD ONLY i.e. 23.02.2021 to 25.02.2021.

MERIT OF SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION EXPLANATION

Total 1128 candidates will be selected under SAMADHAN-2021 Scholarship Exam purely on
the basis of merit.

1. Type A (398): 60% and above marks.

2. Type B (473): 50% or above & less than 60% marks

3. Type C (257): 40% or above & less than 50% marks

If, the number of qualified candidates under Type A scholarship is more than the
prescribed number i.e. 398, under such condition next candidates will be eligible for Type B
scholarship and similarly, if, the number of candidates under Type B scholarship is more than
prescribed number of 473 then next candidates will be selected for Type C scholarship.

As per the above arrangement total number of scholarship amount* will be provided to
first 1128 top scorer only.

Since, applicants do not need to pay any fee for registration; there shall be no fee refund
option.

Scholarship amount will be deposited in the bank account of qualified/eligible candidates

after deduction of bank/payment gateway transaction charges.

DATE, TIME & VENUE OF EXAMINATION

I. Tentative date for examination is 21 FEBRUARY 2021 (Sunday). Time of examination will be
made available under ‘ONLINE TEST’ section of Medhavi Android App 3 days prior to exam
date.
II. This is an ONLINE EXAMINATION and can be accessed only through an android device using
MEDHAVI APPLICATION with compatible & latest version of android having a good internet
connection. Candidates can appear for the exam from their HOME or any other location as
per their convenience.

IN THE EVENT OF TIE, AUTHORITY WILL ADOPT SHORT LISTING CRITERIA TO SELECT CANDIDATES
FOR SCHOLARSHIP TO A REASONABLE NUMBER BY ANY OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

A. On the basis of number obtained in General studies section.

B. On the basis of number obtained in English section.
C. On the basis of number obtained in Quantitative Aptitude section.
D. On the basis of number obtained in Reasoning section.
E. On the basis of time taken by the candidates
F. On the basis of marks obtained in the matriculation/10th.
G. Candidate of lower income family will be preferred.

DATE FOR DETERMINING THE ELIGIBILITY & AGE OF ALL CANDIDATES IN EVERY RESPECT SHALL BE
THE PRESCRIBED CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISISON OF ONLINE APPLICATION (OA). THE APPLICANTS
ARE ADVISED TO FILL IN ALL THEIR PARTICULARS IN THE ONLINE RECRUITMENT APPLICATION
CAREFULLY AS SUBMISSION OF WRONG INFORMATION MAY LEAD TO REJECTION OR DEBARMENT
BY THE AUTHORITY.
