fox again shouted at the other fox that he would leap in the water and
bite the nasty ugly fox. Little brown duck heard little red fox shouting and
asked him why he was doing so. The fox told her that there was another
fox in the water which was not going away. The duck told him there was
no other fox but little red fox insisted he would jump into the water and
bite him.
Little brown duck said, “Don’t do that, in the middle of the river lives a

are long white spears.”The fox laughed and said, “I am not scared of any

Usually on Sunday mornings, I play cricket. There are many boys and girls

get a chance to bat and when I get that chance, I love it. There are some

MONKEY TROUBLE
Two cats – fighting over a loaf of bread – a monkey saw –agreed to settle
their dispute – divided into two equal halves – ate away the remaining
little piece – cats again fought for a larger share – the monkey ate bit by
bit – ran away- cats realized their foolishness
In a small village, there were many cats. They would take away food from
houses and run away. One day two cats picked up one big loaf of bread.
They came out of the village area and started dividing the loaf. As they were
doing so, one monkey was watching them. He offered his help. He got his
scale and divided it into half. On one side the bread was heavier so he ate a
bit and tried to make it equal. When he gave each of them, the cats were
still not happy. They again argued for a larger share. He again weighed the
loaf and ate away some parts to make them equal. Slowly he ate away the
whole loaf and climbed up the tree. He teased them for being foolish.
‘Never fight. Always share or someone else will take advantage,’ said the
monkey. The cats realized their mistake. They never fought again.

CREATIVE STORY WRITING
We were playing with our ball when suddenly it went high up in the air, and
struck an abandoned house. We rushed towards it to get our ball but it had
gone right in, through the window.
It looked very strange. Wild bushes and the grass was overgrown around
the house. Surprisingly the door was open so we went inside. The house
was covered in cobwebs. We decided to go further in to look for the ball.
When we got there, we saw a large hall with three rooms. One room had
an old bed and a dresser. The second room was a bathroom. The third
room was a living room. Our ball was nowhere to be found.
When we were going towards the kitchen, someone said in a heavy gruff
voice, “Hello.” We were so scared that we ran towards the door to go out.
We turned around and saw a man with a king-size red candy, al long as the
man. We were all shivering with fear. Without any second thought we ran
out of the house. They said it was Mr. Bob’s ghost who died twenty years
back but his spirit lives there.
