I. PLANNING INFORMATION
A. Effectivity
(1) PRODUCTS:
LM2500+/+G4 SAC Models
(2) ENGINE SERIAL NUMBERS:
LM2500+ gas turbines, serial numbers 557-051 through 557-053, 557-101

through 557-107, 557-112, 557-115, 557-116, 641-051, 641-058, 641-101
through 641-106, 641-108 through 641-138, 641-141 through 641-154,
641-156 through 641-162, 641-164, 641-165, 641-167, 641-181 through
641-188, 641-196, 641-198, 641-199, and 641-202 through 641-204, are
affected by this Service Bulletin.
LM2500+ gas generators, serial numbers 635-050, 635-051, 635-101 through

635-106, 635-109 through 635-112, and 635-114, are affected by this Service
Bulletin.
LM2500+G4 gas turbines, serial numbers 679-103 through 679-110, are

affected by this Service Bulletin.
NOTE
Complete sets (30) of the new primary fuel feeder tubes will be introduced on
new production engines beginning with the following serial numbers:
LM2500+ gas turbines, serial number 557-120.

LM2500+ gas generators, serial number 635-115.
LM2500+G4 gas turbines, serial number 679-116.

B. Reason
(1) Objective:
The purpose of this Service Bulletin is to introduce redesigned primary

fuel feeder tubes for the LM2500+ SAC and LM2500+G4 SAC engine
configurations.
(2) Condition/Events:
Interference between the primary fuel feeder tube and the T3 sensor body
causes local deformation and wear of the two parts at the No. 2 and No. 11
fuel nozzle locations.
(3) Cause:
Engine operational temperatures reduce clearances of these two items.
(4) Improvement:
Improved design allows for greater clearances between the T3 sensor and
the primary fuel feeder tube.
C. Description
This Service Bulletin provides instructions to replace the primary fuel feeder tubes
at the No. 2 and No. 11 fuel nozzle locations.
D. Compliance
Category: Campaign (C) Level: Field/Depot (F/D) Timing Code: 6
GE recommends this Service Bulletin be accomplished at repair or replacement of

the primary fuel feeder tubes.
E. Manpower
Approximately 2 man-hours are required to accomplish this Service Bulletin.
F. Tooling
Ensure all tooling required by technical manual procedures referenced in

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS are on hand prior to performing this Service
Bulletin.

G. Material Requirements
(1) The following materials are required to accomplish this Service Bulletin:

NOTE
New production engines will have a complete set of 30 primary fuel feeder
tubes.
The price, terms and conditions, and delivery for this material will be quoted
upon request submitted to your GE Customer Service provider.
Ensure all materials required by technical manual procedures referenced in

ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS are on hand prior to performing this
Service Bulletin.

II. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
A. For LM2500+ models, replace primary fuel feeder tubes as follows:
(1) Remove primary fuel feeder tubes, PN L46380G01, per GEK 105054,
WP 101 07.
(2) Install new primary fuel feeder tubes, PN L61140G01, per GEK 105054,
WP 101 07.
B. For LM2500+G4 models, replace primary fuel feeder tubes as follows:
(1) Remove primary fuel feeder tubes, PN L51436G01, per GEK 112859,
WP 101 02.
(2) Install new primary fuel feeder tubes, PN L61029G01, per GEK 112859,
WP 101 02.
III. COMPLIANCE RECORD
Compliance with this Service Bulletin must be entered in local records. The attached
Service Bulletin Compliance Record form must be completed and returned to the address
indicated on the compliance form.
