1st Conditional
a possible future situation
(simple present + simple future/modal verb)
{may, might, could, should}

2nd Conditional
unreal/imaginary situations in the present/future:
(simple past + modal verb (would, may, might, could, should)
2nd conditional = [I wish + Simple Past]
I wish I had a car. (but I don't)
I wish I were rich.

3rd Conditional
unreal/imaginary situations in the past:
(past perfect + modal verb + have + main verb (pp)
[I wish + Past Perfect]
ex.: I wish I had been there to help.

Verb Pattern:
wish + infinitive
I wish to be rich.
I wished to be rich.

whether = options (when you are not sure)

I don't know whether I travel to RJ or SP.
