LESSON PLAN - Science

This lesson plan is for a 50-minute science lesson on Friday about what causes the seasons. Students will work in groups to discuss what they know about seasons and how the earth's tilt and rotation around the sun affect the different seasons in each hemisphere. They will use a globe and hula hoop to demonstrate their understanding of how the earth's positioning relative to the sun creates seasons. The teacher will clarify any misconceptions and assess students' understanding through their discussions, embodiment activities, and oral language.
