JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS Job Task: Fuel Pump Operation & Spill Date: Analysis Performed

SEQUENCE OF BASIC JOB STEPS POTENTIAL HAZARDS RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Shut off vehicle at fuel pump.  Vehicle movement while  Place in park

2. Remove vehicle fuel cap.  Sudden release of fuel vapors  Slowly remove fuel cap

3. Insert nozzle into fill line.  Static charge could ignite fuel  Touch vehicle body to eliminate
