    ANIMAL DONUTS PATTERN :


    MATERIALS:
    3.5mm crochet hook
    Icing (top): Choose any colours you desire, I used:

    • 1x 8ply light blue wool


    • 1x 8ply lavender wool
    • 1x 8ply pink wool
    • 1x 8ply custard orange wool
    Donut base: 1x 8ply cream wool
    Per donut: 2x 5mm safety eyes
    (Optional): ribbons, or other cute décor

    Donut Icing: choose desired colour


    chain 15sc into ring
    Abbreviations:
    r1: 2sc, inc (20)
    Sc = single crochet
    r2: 3sc, inc (25)
    Inc = increase (2sc in each stitch)
    r3: 4sc, inc (30)
    FO = finish off
    r4: 5sc, inc (35)
    MC = magic circle
    r5-6: sc (35) – FO and leave long tail for sewing

    Donut Base: use cream wool


    Repeat same pattern as icing.

    Animal ears: (make in pairs)


    Follow the patterns below for the animal you wish to create.

    Bear ears (make 2) Bunny ears (make 2) Cat ears (Make 2)

    Tiger ears (make 2) R6: 2sc, dec (10)
    Mc 6, repeat: R1-R3, R7: 2sc, dec (8)
    sc (15). FO R8-9: sc (8) 1: Fold in half.
    FO 2: Sew open end together
    1: Fold in half.
    2: Sew open end together. 1: Fold in half.

    Assembly:
    1: Insert safety eyes on the icing side of donut.

    2: Holding the two sides of the donut (right sides facing in), sew the outer circumference of the donuts
    together, leaving a small gap of 2-3cm unsewn.

    3: Flip the donut right-side out using the gap you have left.

    4: Sew the inner circumference together with chosen-icing-coloured wool.

    5: Stuff firmly. Sew the gap shut.

    6: Sew the animal ears on,

    • For the rabbit, cat and tiger, sew the “sewn-closed” end to the donut
    • For the bear, sew the flat “unsewn” end to the donut

    7: Tiger – sew on stripes, 3 on his head, and 2 on both sides of his cheeks

    8: (optional) Sew on any extras (ie. Bows, flowers) you want!

    • I just cut a 10-12cm strand of wool and tied a bow


    • Then I sewed them onto my donut

    You have now completed my Animal Donut pattern!
