ACTION RESULT
1. Open the access panel 197KB. On the IRP (11QU):
- The IRP floodlights 14QU and
15QU come on
- All the lamps and indicators
come on
- All the tank quantities,
ACTUAL, PRESELECT and
STATUS displays come on.
2. On the IRP, make sure that: On the IRP:
- The POWER SUPPLY is in the - The top line of the STATUS
NORMAL position display shows OFF MODE.
- All the REFUEL/DEFUEL
VALVES switches are in the
SHUT position
- The MODE SELECT switch is in
the OFF position.
3. Record the fuel quantity
indication shown on the ACTUAL
(FOB) display.
4. On the IRP: On the IRP:
- Lift the guard and put the - The top line of the STATUS
ALTN GAUGING switch to the display shows ALTN GAUGING
ALTN position. - The ACTUAL (FOB) display
shows the fuel quantity
indication given by the
alternate gauging. This fuel
quantity must be:
- Less than FOB + 30000
kg (66000 lb)

5. On the IRP: On the IRP:

- Put the ALTN GAUGING switch - The top line of the STATUS
to the NORMAL position and display shows OFF MODE
close the guard. - The ACTUAL (FOB) display
goes back to the recorded fuel
quantity indication.
