    Mother Tongue

    My take on the importance of mother tongue is have to be learned first, to be able to learn another
    language not that hard. It should be maintained or implemented since we were seeing and observing
    today's generation how eager they are learning other languages rather than native language.I would like
    to set myself as an example of it, we don't have these kinds of school business like knowing or using our
    first language but what subject tells about it's langauage. I could barely say, I'd rather english than my
    native language since it is an international langauage being used by many around the world even here in
    the Philippines specifically in applying job or having an interview or meeting people in flesh.

    Mother tongue being mentioned on the video that it is preffered as first language or native language
    that individual must learned before the acquisition of any language. I think we people are put in a
    descerning spot to inculcate in our minds the power of the differences and to continue to use our native
    language, this is the stepping stone to reminish and preserve the true culture like mother tongue for us
    not to forget and for the next generation to preserve it as well for the nearer future. Our own language
    is dying and we can't hide these how young generation love to learn and explore another language, they
    might say it's cool and just helping them grow better.As a matter a fact, I am also part of those living
    organisms who is liking to learn english language rather than my own, it simply explains that I can learn
    my own language in home or in our society. "Keeping ouselves from distractions will not affect our life,
    but knowing our first language is one step ahead of living with great substance."
