PART 3:

Hello! I see you’re new to our painting club. Can you tell us how can you know about this
club?

I was recommended by a friend in my university, she is a member here too. Actually, I came to the
club’s exhibition last year. It was really impressive and that is also why I want to join this club.

How long has it been since you started painting? Why do you love it?

I’ve painted since I was a kid. Now I’m currently a student at National Art University. I think the
reason why I love painting came from my father’s passion for art, this has inspired me a lot.

Do you intend to work as a painter? Or any profession that requires the ability to paint?

Obviously! My major in university is Art Education. I always want to become an art teacher
working in a primary school. I love teaching children and painting with them. This brings about
a lot of great experiences, doesn’t it?

PART 4:

Hi Jenny,

I guess that you have also received the latest email from our painting club about the upcoming
exhibition. I am very excited about this news. I think “environment preservation” would be a good
idea for the exhibition theme. We can use different materials such as plastic bags, paper, plastic
bottles to create unique artworks. What do you think about this idea? Please let me know.
