Alhamdulillah, I most grateful to the Allah SWT, the Almighty, for His showers of

blessings for the completion of this Social Media Portfolio successfully as one of the

requirement that need to be accomplish in the course work assessment for the code

ENT530.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation to all those who provided me the

possibility to complete this portfolio. A special gratitude I give to our lecturer, Madam Rahayu

Hasan, who is our lecturer for the course Principles of Entrepreneurship ENT530 for this

semester, whose contribution in stimulating suggestions and encouragement, also helped

me during the process of completion to coordinate my report especially in writing this social

media portfolio. Without her, I would not be able to complete this portfolio.

Furthermore, I would like to acknowledge with much appreciation to my classmates

and friends, especially who help me to complete the task social media portfolio. Last but not

least, I am extremely grateful to my parents for their love, prayers, caring and sacrifices for

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The success of a small business depends on its ability to continually earn profits. Same goes
to Choqoejar as we trying our best in providing the best types of chocolate jar to our
customers in order to attract more customers to come to our shop and at the same time can
gain more profits if we can maintain our business for a long period. First of all, Choqoejar a
shop that operating at 65, Jalan Othman Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The business establish
on 15 May 2017. Generally, many of our customers comes from different places and also
from students. It is because our shop is near with educational institution such as Universiti
Teknologi Mara Jalan Othman Petaling Jaya, Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Petaling Jaya. This
place also near with Library of Petaling Jaya.

As presented in the company name, Choqoejar offers a familiar yet unique experience in
experiencing breakfast or snacking by chocolate jar and chocolate mixed creatively with
others toppings in a jar for a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Costs to be covered
including various types of topping inside and flavors of chocolate rice.

We have devised the vision, mission and logo for our Choqoejar company on the grounds of
functionality of our product and appeal to our target audience. Obstacles faced by Choqoejar
would include competition from other food service companies in the class as well as in other
classes. This competition will also be felt from other, more familiar competitors with similar
ideas such as those whom sell bubble rice with chocolate in jars. We hope to overcome
these shortcomings in competition by offering value for money products which are
significantly cheaper than the products presently available in the market. Time restraints
need also be considered as the shareholders for this company are of multi-disciplinary
backgrounds.

2.1 Name and address of business

Choqoejar is a shop that began operating in Jalan Othman Petaling Jaya, Selangor on

May 15, 2017 by Puteri Nina Farhana. Choqoejar is located in 65 Jalan Othman PJ Old

Town, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The location of the shop is near to the residential area,

and quite far from other restaurant, which means there is a lot of space for the parking

area. The owner also need to pay for the rent as the shop is built and shared with other

businesses. Choqoejar do not spend a lot of expenses in promoting our business, it is

because of the power of social media that is strong enough to spread about the existence

of the stores.

In addition, the location is located at strategic places that may attract many customer to visit

and walk in to our shop. Mostly the regular customer of Choqoejar are local people that lives

in that area, not to forget young people also visit our shop to buy chocolate jar for

themselves of gift for others. It is also because the location of this shop are nearby

educational institute. For example, Universiti Teknologi Mara Petaling Jaya Campus Jalan

Othman (UiTM) it is just around 6 kilometre away and it takes less than 10 minutes to reach

there. There is also Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara Petaling Jaya just 5 kilometre away. The

students love to come to this shop on the morning and evening with their friends to buy

chocolate jar. This have become one of the advantages because people who passer-by the

road will notice the existence of the shop.

In this business, the owner is a General Manager, Puteri Nina Farhana, she will give

instruction to the workers and plan activity for run the business. For the marketing manager,

Afiqah is responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the products

and services that a company sells. Typically marketing managers are employed to attract

more customers to buy from the company and to raise brand awareness through the

creation of marketing campaign.

Next, for the administration manager, we choose Que as a administrative manager is to

revolve around managing and distributing information within an office. This generally

includes answering phones, taking memos and maintaining files. Administrative assistants

may also be in charge of sending and receiving correspondence, as well as greeting clients

and customers.

For the operational manager, Adira are responsible for managing activities that are part of

the production of goods and services. Their direct responsibilities include managing both the

operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance improvement, and

operations strategy. Furthermore, as the financial manager Zulaika are responsible for the

financial health of an organization. She will produce financial reports, direct investment

activities, and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of our

organization.

2.3 Mission / vision

As the mission of the Choqoejar, we are passionate about the art of chocolate jar making

and we are continuously striving to create perfect premium chocolate jar that will put a smile

on our customers’ face. We will continue to use nothing but the finest quality ingredients and

implement strict operational procedures to ensure that the chocolate jar produced are

perfect.

For Choqoejar, our vision for the future is to become a leading international chocolatier

that emphasises on excellence and perfection by creating the finest and the most

indulgent chocolate jar with our spirit of innovation.

We at Choqoejar are always passionate about the wonderful art of chocolate jar making

and we are continuously pursuing our passion to produce the finest quality of chocolates

by combining traditional techniques with modern technology.

Our strong innovative spirit at Choqoejar is what drives us to continue developing new

interesting and bold toppings and flavours for our chocolate jar. We will take inspiration

from the ingredients and flavours native to the region to create new chocolate jar that will

surprise and delight our customers.

To ensure that the chocolate jar produced are perfect, we employ strict measures

throughout our operations to ensure that the quality of our chocolate jar is

uncompromised. Our customers can rest assured that they will be satisfied every time

they take a bite of our chocolate jar.

2.4 Decriptions of products / services

Choqoejar involves in food industry. We are selling the chocolate jar that can attract more

customers to come to our shop. Not only that, there is a concept that makes them a unique

because of the different topping inside the chocolate jar. There are many types of topping

that the customers can choose based on their preferences and the price is also suitable and

reasonable for each chocolate jar because they can mix the topping which suitable with their

taste buds. For the chocolate jar, there are more than 15 set of topping to fill into chocolate

jar. With the variety of topping available customer can choose and request which one they

prefer for the topping on the top of chocolate jar. The price for 350g is RM8 only except for

the topping for Kinder Bueno is RM9.

For the Choqoejar product, we sell the chocolate jar as a affordable products, healthy

choices, variety of toppings and fresh fruits. As for the affordable product, the customer can

personally customize their own filling and topping for their chocolate jar. Not only that,

customers also can request the filling and topping they want during the order. By the

average price of RM8 and RM9, customers can bring back the glass jar to their home and

reuse the glass jar, as actually they are paying for those glass jar. Affordable as our product

is delicious. Good value for money. As we mention earlier, we had many types of topping

such chocolate such as KitKat, Kinder Bueno, and so on, Nuts and fresh fruits for toppings.

Healthy choice also very important for someone to have a good lifestyles. The healthiness of

chocolate jar comes from fresh fruits and dark chocolates. Dark chocolate is produced by

adding cocoa butter to sugar and cocoa powder. Unlike milk chocolate, dark chocolate does

not contain any milk solids. White chocolate contains only cocoa butter, sugar and milk

solids and no chocolate liquor or cocoa powder. So technically, white chocolate is not really

chocolate at all. High cocoa content has been associated with positive health benefits,

especially cardiovascular health, from flavonol antioxidants. The fresh fruit for the topping of

chocolate jar are an excellent source of essential vitamins and minerals, and they are high in

fiber. Fruits also provide a wide range of health-boosting antioxidants, including flavonoids.

2.5 Price list.

As our product Choqoejar, the price list for 350g chocolate jar is RM8 only for all the topping

as can see below except for the Kinder Bueno chocolate jar and the customer can choose

which topping they prefer.

4. Conclusion

As a conclusion, I am very grateful to finish this social media portfolio. I have gone

through lots of new experiences and it is very beneficial in participating in this social

media business. I hope that my current business will be continue and progressed

smoothly in the future. My target is that I want to achieve high profit in the involvement in

this business even though there are many challenges exist. Unfortunately, with the good

hard work I am able manage to raise my profit as entrepreneur.

Next, I should also show self-effectiveness in doing job and to make sure that my

product, Choqoejar is affordable, quality and satisfaction for the customers. In addition, I

know that social media business is more challenging nowadays. Besides that, I hope can

produce the best chocolate jar that no one can match with the uniqueness of the taste. I

will provide full responsibility and commitment, there is also no doubt that I will achieve

all these things. I also encouraged to take any chance directly or indirectly in order to

increase my business performance in the future undertakings.

Last but not least, this social media business proved to be helpful to all. I gained a lot of

experience how to handle the business as well as the posting of product in Facebook,

promotion of product and raise the profit. In addition, I have also learnt about the risk

have to face and how to overcome the risks. Through perseverance and hard work, I am

successful to achieve profit from selling chocolate jar.
