(d) Check LH and RH brake wear pin for min. extension. When brake wear pin extends 1 mm, the
following complimentary procedures may be used:
NOTE: The brake shall be replaced within 30 cycles. If brake wear pin protrusion is found
somewhere between 1 mm and flush an average brake wear of 0.2 mm per 6 cycles may be used to
decide when brake must be replaced. In these cases a log entry should be made. Transfer the log
entry to DDL.
Note: For accuracy, the wear indicator pins should be checked after the brakes have cooled.

MPO Ref.: 32-270-011-02 AMM Task: 32-41-41

(e) Inspect wheel assemblies and tires for condition and wear according to AMM.

NOTE: If no wheels are available or punctuality is affected and a tire has an average groove depth
less than 1/32 inch(0,79 mm), make a log entry in order to prepare for a planned
replacement/reinspection at next convenient maintenance stop. Transfer the log entry to DDL.
