Respected Sir/Madam,
Subject: - Regarding the reconsideration of my study permit application
I Ramanan Nallatchi Manivannan, applied for my study permit application with
application no.: S304107986 & UCI: 1125006966 on 28-10-2020. I was given a refusal
note stating that I will not be leaving Canada at the end of my program also it has been
mentioned that my previous work experience/education doesn’t seem to be reasonable
motive to pursue this program R216 (1)(b).
I would like to reiterate that I intend to return back to India after competition of
my program as my parents, siblings and all my paternal and maternal relatives including
my ancestral properties and our house are all back here. Also, we have rented a portion
of our house to a tenant and I will be the one to look after it. In future along with my
sibling I inherit these properties. Moreover, my parents are my pillar of support and I
share a very strong emotional bonding with them. Their retirements are around the
corner and it is my responsibility to look after them post retirement life.
After graduating as Mechanical Engineer, I have been working with AshokLeyland
-Foundry division, where I was responsible for devising and coordinating daily operation
plans, maintaining tools and consumables (oil, coolants) inventory for daily operations,
negotiating with suppliers for the sourcing of new tools, for improved quality and also
for cost-reduction activities. With my work revolving around operations planning and
inventory handling, aligning with my interest in Operations and Supply Chain
Management has led me to choose Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Operations & Supply
Chain Management.
Owing to the above-mentioned reasons which have been already mentioned at
the time of study permit application I request you to reconsider my request and to grant
me my study permit approval.
