Introduction
Irish House is a growing Sports Bar featuring a variety of boldly
flavored, made-to-order menu items. Our restaurants create an
inviting neighborhood atmosphere that includes an extensive multi-
media system, a full bar and an open layout, which appeals to sports
fans and families alike. Our concept offers elements of the quick casual
and casual dining restaurant concepts featuring a flexible service model
that allows our guests to choose among convenient dining options such
as quick casual counter service, casual dining table service or take-out.
Our award-winning food and inviting atmosphere, combined with our
guests’ ability to customize their dining experience, drives guest visits
and loyalty.
OPENING TIME –
The hours of operation will be variable over the various days depending
on the forecasted demand i.e. the hours of operation on the weekends
and public holidays would be kept comparatively more than that on he
weekdays when the demand is evidently less when compared to the
weekends & public holidays .

Weekdays: 15:00 to 00:00 hrs

Weekends & Public Holidays: 11:00 to 01:00 hrs


Menu
Our focus will be on serving top quality food in terms of all
starters, snacks , appetizers ranging right from vegetarian to
non-vegetarian . Also, we will be serving all kinds of hard drinks
from booze to whiskey, vodka, etc. so that the audience can sit
back and enjoy their top brand of sport with us

Supplier
Raw vegetables and the supporting material required for
the day to day activities will be delivered weekly by our
distributor directly from the market. We also have an
agreement with Company to exclusively manufacture our
signature sauces, Glasses and all of our merchandise will
be printed and produced by our supplier office in Goa.

All the hard drinks will be sourced on a contract basis for


a period of 3months with the price of the item remaining
constant until and unless the price deviated by over 30%
both on the up and downside both
Operations
The inventory management and order taking and
processing will all be done on touch screen monitors
placed throughout the restaurant and bar area. We will
have to buy the touch monitors and maybe even a couple
hand held order entry units. The software the business
will use is from Digital Dining, which is the premiere
restaurant software. This software can be altered to the
businesses needs. The software will include a point of
sale menu, inventory control analysis, credit card sales,
bar and quick serve menu, office management, and much
more. With this software there are so many applications
it could do I could write the paper on this alone
We will provide ongoing training programs to assist with
customer service and quality control. The training will
include preparation of menu items, quality and food
portion control, beverage and inventory management,
using the software, cleanliness, organization and
sanitation standards, marketing and public relations.

The facility size the business is looking for is building


with a seating capacity of around 45 to 50 people or
16,000 sq. feet. This may sound big but if there is a big
sports event we want to pack them in, or people just don’t
want to sit next to other people this would give them
space to spread out.
The business will need to get all the kitchen hardware
needed to run a restaurant of this size; this includes
stoves, refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, deep fryers,
and many other items. We will also have to buy the big
screens televisions, audio equipment, arcade games, and
the table top monitors with there own audio control.

Staffing & Uniform


One manger of Irish House Sports Bar. His general duties will
be to oversee the daily operations of restaurants, inventory and
ordering of food, equipment, and supplies and arrange for the
routine maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant, its equipment,
and facilities. One assistant managers for the restaurant and
their duties will be to oversee the personal when the manager is
not available. One of the managers will deal mainly with the
cooks and the other with the wait staff and bartenders. There
will be four cooks and each scheduled to work at least forty
hours a week.The will be 2 bartenders and one helper in bar
There will be four to six waiters/waitresses on staff. The will
also have to clean the table as well as wait on customers. There
will be some part time positions and full time positions and two
for Housekeeping
Our sports bar uniforms and referee shirt are ideal for sports
promotions, bars and restaurants. Our comfortable and
performance referee shirts are made to perform on and off the
field referee shirt
Liquor License
You cannot serve alcohol in any location without a
license from the state and in some areas from your county
or city as well. As part of the licensing process, some
states may require you to register with the Federal
Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. Research
the laws and licensing process in your state to ensure you
know what is needed, and start your application early
since it can often take three or four months before your
license is issued.

Food Establishment License


Since you will also be serving food at your sports bar, a
license from local public health authorities may be
needed. Usually, you submit a plan review of your
existing or planned building to the public health
department; once your plan is approved, you can begin
construction or begin preparing for your opening
inspection. After the inspection, if you've met all the
requirements, a food establishment license will be issued
to you and you can begin serving customers. Note that
you do not have to wait for your liquor license to open the
restaurant portion of your sports bar and restaurant -- you
just cannot serve any alcohol.
Other Licenses and Taxes
In addition to the liquor and food licenses you will need,
your city or county may require a general business
license, zoning permits, occupancy permits or sales tax
permits. State governments all require a tax on alcohol
sales and most have them on restaurant food sales as well.
Your sports bar and restaurant is also required to submit
federal income taxes, as well as employer withholding.
Contact local city officials, your state tax board or the IRS
for more information about obtaining the necessary
permits or ID numbers for each.
