ONLINE CLASS RULES FOR THE NEW NORMAL

Intermediate & High School Level


1. Show up on time and be ready to learn.
2. Dress for the school day. School appropriate dress is required during participation at all
times. Strictly no sando, sleeveless shirt or pajamas.
3. Find a quiet place, free from distraction. Please attempt to keep all background noise and
distractions to a minimum. Use a table and chair or desk. Do not participate in virtual
classes from bed, recliner or sofa.
4. Mute your device and be an active listener.
5. Video needs to remain ON to promote focus. Eye contacts should be maintained.
6. Maintain RESPECT in both speaking, writing and appearance.
7. Speak in a controlled and clear manner so everyone can hear.
8. Refrain from chewing, eating or drinking in front of a camera.
9. Use the chat function to post comments that are academic related. Use appropriate
language.
10. Promptly exit the meeting when the class is over.
11. Do not record the session to protect the privacy of all participants.
12. For safety, do not give your personal google account log in details to others.
13. REMEMBER: This is a class so treat it as such.

Primary Level
1. Be on time.
2. Be prepared.
3. Wear appropriate clothes.
4. Find a comfortable place and keep your school supplies nearby.
5. Check if your gadget and connection work well.
6. Turn your mic off. Turn it on only when you are going to respond to or
ask a question.
7. Keep your camera on so your teacher and classmates can see you.
8. Be attentive. Pay attention to your teacher.
9. Be respectful to everyone.
10.Be engaged. Turn in assignments and classworks on time.
