Materials I use:
Terms/Abbreviations
CH = chain
▪ Worsted weight yarn in your color
SL ST = slip stitch
choice. I used: Bernat Super Value in
ST(s) = stitch (es)crochet
white and yellow.
SC=single
▪ Size 3mm hook
HDC=haft double crochet
▪ Felt baric in white
DC= double crochet
▪ 14 mm plastic black eyes, 12mm x
R = round
15mmm plastic black nose
FO = fasten off

Ears (make 2) : use white yarn


Do 9 chain,
R1-R2. 8sc, 1ch, turn (8)
R3. dec, 4sc, dec, 1ch, turn (6)
R4-R5. 6sc, 1ch, turn (6)
R6. dec, 2sc, dec, 1ch, turn (4)
R7-R8. 4sc, 1ch, turn (4)

Fasten off.

Strap (make 1): use yellow yarn (use on


R33 top backpack)
Do 200 chain
Fasten off.
Using 6 plastic beads to create accents for
the 2 ends of the strap.

Shoulder strap (make 1): use yellow yarn


Do 500 chain
Fasten off.

Belt loop (make 3): use yellow yarn


From Round to Round, work in row. Chain
2 and turn at the end of each row.
Do 8chain.
R1. dc in 3rd stitch from the hook, 5dc (6)
R2-R6. 6dc (6)
Fasten off.
