A Detailed Lesson Plan in English for Preschool Students

I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the preschool students should be able to:

A. identify the 26 letters in the English alphabet;


B. show appreciation of being able to recognize the English alphabet; and
C. perform lacing of letters using shoe lace.

Materials: shoe lace and cut-out 26 letters

III. Procedure

A. Preparation

1. Greeting “Good morning, Teacher Nikki”


“Good morning, class!”
2. Prayer
“Let us pray.” (The pupils will follow the teacher)
(The teacher will lead the prayer)

3. Checking of Attendance
(Checks the attendance in alphabetical (The pupils will raise their hands when
order.) their names are called to check if they
are present.)
